Neues Jahr, neue Musik! Wir präsentieren aus unserem befreundeten Kollektiv 60zoll: Lax Morenz. Der in Dresden geborene Multi-Instrumentalist und DJ lebt mittlerweile in Hannover und hat für uns dieses schicke Set gestrickt. Viele Jahre musikalischer Erfahrung werden in seinem Sound reflektiert, den man vielleicht mit progressive House beschreiben kann und trancige Elemente mit ner Menge Groove verbindet. Wir stoßen mit euch und ihm an aufs neue Jahr!

Born in Dresden and now based in Hanover, multi-instrumentalist and DJ Lax Morenz stands out for one thing above all: Versality. His many years of musical experience are reflected in his live and DJ performances. New sounds, unusual arrangements and emotional ups and downs make his digital and vinyl setssomething special.

House, progressively influenced electronic, techno, trance &rave.

We started the recording a bit late, so don't be irritated by the abrupt beginning AND especially not by the mixing mistakes :)

For the 19th episode of our podcast series we are very happy to present you Good Catch from Newcastle upon Tyne, in the North East of England. After attempting to move to New Zealand in February of 2020, he was forced to make a swift return to the UK after just one month due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was shortly after returning home he rediscovered his love for electronic music. He then turned his attention to music production and building a home studio, and due to the lockdowns in the UK, he was given a lot of free time which enabled him to focus on making music. Within a year he had released his first EP on REES' Paradiso Records in England and had began to secure bookings/gigs at local bars, clubs and venues in the area. His most recent release on Bungalo Disco based in Berlin was great for him as he has been a fan of the label for a long time and it allowed his tracks to reach a new audience.
