In early June 2014, we played the first of three planned symphonies with the Danish National Chamber Orchestra in the grand DR Concert Hall. It was a magical experience - at least for us! Das in London ansässige Phacelia Ensemble besteht aus fünf weltweit konzertierenden Streichern und einer in ganz Europa als Klavier-Rezitalistin und als Solistin mit mehreren Orchestern musizierenden Pianistin, das von der künstlerischen Leiterin Elisabeth Streichert ins Leben gerufen wurde, um der Idee von "Concertos en Miniature" Ausdruck zu verleihen. Das Ziel des Phacelia Ensembles ist es, von der Pianistin Elisabeth Streichert transkribierte Klavierkonzerte für alternative, kleinere Veranstaltungsorte durchzuführen, um das Publikum mit einem intimeren Klangerlebnis zu erfreuen. Das Programm ist auch immer mit großen Kammermusikwerken verbunden, z. B. Klavierquintetten, wie Franz Schuberts "Forellenquintett" A-Dur D 667, Klavierquartetten oder Streichquartetten, wie Zoltán Kodálys Streichquartett Nr. 2 op. 10, um die Beziehung zwischen diesen beiden Genres zu zeigen. Anlässlich des Jubiläums 2019 zum 200. Geburtstag von Clara Schumann wird das Phacelia Ensemble das von ihr mit 17 Jahren komponierte Klavierkonzert a-Moll op. 7 aufführen.

Gai-jin  -  (noun) Foreigner / Outsider

It’s been a year and 3 months since the foreigner arrived at the Land of the Samurai.

The epic sequel continues where our young hero Rai is on a quest to find his way back home and regain his memories that he once lost. Learning the way of the samurai, Rai has become highly skilled in his swordsmanship under the tutelage of Hachiro Sensei. Rai has matured but understands that there is plenty more room for growth. During this time on top of the vibrant Yama no aki, Hachiro reveals some clues in regards to how he can return home.


He explains that in order for him to go back home, he would have to face the shogun of this land in a 1-on-1 duel. That’s all he is able to share, but what Hachiro and Rai don’t know is that the shogun is also a foreigner and as to who the foreigner is, well…it happens to be Rai brother.
