Deranged is an upcoming artist in the London scene, hailing from Lithuania. Over the past few years he has been carefully studying his influences and crafting his style. Rolling and groovy basslines, sinister and hypnotic rhythms, minimalistic yet powerful percussions are the distinctive details in his sound. Effectively blending both old school and new, the aim is to keep the listener locked in the groove the whole time.

MASS Sessions #167 | Deranged

Deranged is a new and upcoming Lithuanian artist in the London scene. Over the past few years, he has been carefully studying his influences and crafting his style. Rolling and groovy basslines, sinister and hypnotic rhythms, minimalistic yet powerful percussions are the distinctive details in his sound. Effectively blending both old school and new, the aim is to keep the listener locked in the groove the whole time.
Frustrated with the lack of hypnotic and groovy music in London, he decided to launch his project @insignia.london. It is a new collective and event series, showcasing the best local talent in this specific genre of techno. Few first outdoor events have already seen massive success. You will see more of Deranged, as well as his event very soon.

A Sunday afternoon delight from two of techno's most beloved heavy-hitters arrives exclusively on our Soundcloud.

Berlin techno viking and founder of Dystopian Records Rødhåd and the young, accomplished and Mote-Evolver regular Rene Wise have released their 4 hour set recording from March 2023, a huge B2B session that saw the pair delve in and out of eachother’s company for our last Continuum party. They played an extended set during the final Continuum 24+hour party of the season this Spring. 

The session, which started at 4pm as the tail end of the afternoon drew in and went on til 8pm ahead of a closing set from Ben Klock and Marcel Dettmann, proved to be one of our highlights from the event. It's a real treat to be able to share the full recording; smashers from the get-go that takes us through the hard and heavy, to the atmospheric and energetic.

Lock in below and transport to the incomparable energy of Room 1 on a Sunday afternoon. Sometimes, we reckon, there's no place like it.

Artists in Action return to unleash a huge new album rooted in solidarity, community and free expression. Including tracks from residents of the Calais Jungle, the 59 song album draws on a vast spectrum of styles, sounds and influences including hip hop, jungle, folk, dub and reggae. All proceeds will be used to fund a mission alongside Refugee Community Kitchen to feed refugees in southern European hotspots as winter approaches.
The last albums and benefit parties helped buy the vehicle that will be used this winter, money raised from this release will be used for supplies and logistics. Emanating from Argentina and now residing in Mexico, Thomass has been long in the game producing music for labels such as; Multi Culti, Correspondant and La dame Noir records.

Since 1998 Thomass has had a close relationship with electronic music, attending raves in Buenos Aires which has had great significance in his impassioned productions. 

Holding residencies at Mexican Clubs such as Mono and regularly djing across the globe alongside a variety of amazing artists; Jackson clearly knows his stuff and we are ever so grateful that he has recorded us a mix.
