The first release on Reinier Zonneveld’s own imprint, Filth on Acid, launches a special EP-series, Cocktails Mix series, whereby Reinier Zonneveld collaborates with artists that influence him, both creatively and personally.

Cocktails Mix I brings 4 different variations of tech to the floor. First up is Cold Conquest, featuring Stil vor Talent's head honcho Oliver Koletzki, together they deliver a peak-time track with lots of emotional and musical elements, while keeping a steady heavy rhythm section.

Adding Gem’s labelhead Secret Cinema to the cocktail gives us a purist no nonsense techno banger perfect for dark rooms and dirty basements. 

For the third track on the EP, we see Reinier Zonneveld combined with Gabriel Ananda, showing their emotional and deep signature sound coming to the forefront, with mesmerizing melodies and brilliant synthwork. Perfect for a night closer or sunny open air.

Finally the EP closes of with Matt Sassari and Reinier going all out with an extreme energetic bomb, featuring a machine gun like synth bass.

Gabriel Ananda & Reinier Zonneveld - Got Me (Original Mix)

Loure is 22 year old, Melbourne based producer Thomas Guida. Deriving influence from a vast range of musical outfits, he delivers a refreshing take on his interpretation of Deep House. With the qualities of heavy flowing beats accompanied by smooth melodies and intricate brass, Loure takes inspiration from the forever progressive Melbourne music scene, delivering a unique mix of remarkably original and touching music. "Westside Movements" was written, produced and recorded on the inner skirts of Melbourne’s western suburbs. Gaining heavy influence from ongoing cultural movements currently gracing the streets of Footscray, the surrounding abandoned warehouses and the banks of the Maribyrnong River, this record is an Ode to the West and the joy, unity, and enlightenment it has and continues to provide to myself and all of those who choose to embrace its hidden beauties. Inspired, recent studio sessions have bore two breathing, sonic landscapes, entitled ‘Certain Angles’. Glimmering pianos, droning machines and captivating song writing take form, wrapping the Berlin-based singer’s voice in subtle melancholy. Both humbly understated, yet party-ready, ‘Certain Angles’ perfectly summarises the Life and Death founder’s recent etching in the DJ-Kicks stone. 

DJ Tennis has also called on four of his most trusted allies to reinterpret the single, with four digital-only remixes: The/Das deliver a pensive moment of bubbling body music; Francesco Leali appears with a timeless, genre-bending re-perception as OPUS 3000; Lee Jones salutes the faithful dancers, while Mentrix’ unclassifiable excursion challenges the towering borders of Techno. American duo Luces make their debut on Get Physical with a beautiful pair of house tracks.
Felix Bloxsom and Caleb Cornett have landed on Need Want and Let’s Play House before thanks to their charming and organic house sounds. They bring plenty of open air and natural vibes to their grooves and across both cuts here they really have you in dream mode.
Fantastic opener ‘Adios’ is a track to get you swaying with hands in the air. The lush chords ring out into a spring time sky, with plenty of warmth and feel-good emotions. A dynamic lead synth rises and falls before washing over you like sun breaking through the clouds, and it’s easy to see this one becoming a big hit this summer.
On the flip, ‘Freak Show’ slows right down to a crawl. The beautifully lazy, heavy drums suck you in deep while Luces’s excellent synth are allowed to roam, drift and smudge about up top. It’s an expansive track that will be a prime warm up weapon for the outdoor parties that are just around the corner.
These are two tasteful tunes that bring real house richness to Get Physical. Tracklist:
