Well travelled as a DJ, the German artist also boasts an impressive discography, having showcased his music on Beatfreak Recordings, Eleatics Records, Einmusika, Timeless Moment and Stil Vor Talent. The cross cultural sounds of ‘Pillars to Butterflies’ was well received by progressive music tastemakers and fans alike, quickly making Mike an up and coming talent to watch. Also featured heavily in the recent sets of Nick Warren has been Mike’s take on Celeda’s house classic ‘Be Yourself’. Released in 1999 and most famously played and remixed by Danny Tenaglia, the track remains one of electronic music’s most recognizable and iconic productions. Now after several airings by Nick, perhaps most famously at his The Soundgarden Boat boat party, we’re happy to offer the track as an exclusive free download. Enjoy.

To close out what has been a memorable year in every aspect we welcome back Italian duo Sean & Dee to ICONYC with this gem just in time for the holidays.

The plucky Italian duo had another great year with tracks signed to Beatfreak, UV, Jee Productions and Siona among others and struck gold with multiple Beatport top 10. Their single-minded dedication to progressive music is also winning them many high-profile fans, and we very much expect their sonic journey to take a massive upswing this year.

‘Hey Hey’ is Sean & Dee’s ode to one of the classics dance tracks of the modern era, reimagined for 2020. Essential dance floor weaponry, at its best. Upbeat and musical, the thundering kicks ushering in a mammoth tune. With bass fully engaged, the sonics begin; twisted sweeps, an epic pad and rhythm line, and that ever present vocal, all working together to create a warm and inviting playground in your mind.
