Desi Calatayud es un músico y DJ español especializado en la música electrónica ambiental. Junto con amigos crearon su propia plataforma llamada Fucktor el 2005. En 2008 saco su primer EP (Frutas Daltónicas) en un Netlabl llamado Neovinyl, un trabajo que usa elementos sonoros y ambientes de estilos como el industrial, techno, dark-glitchs, idm… Después de muchos años de estar en la escena con sesiones de techno y minimal techno, decidió investigar más la música experimental y ambiental, y empezó a trabajar mezclando sonidos electrónicos con sonidos instrumentales encarados a otros estilos musicales como el folk y la musica klezmer, especialmente con el grupo llamado Pelandruska, formando así Electrondruska en 2014.
Poco después empezó una búsqueda para definir su propio estilo creando ambientes sonoros que van desde el hip hop, dubstep, glitch i bajos muy potentes a pads armónicos, pausados y muy orgánicos. En 2016 salio a la luz Híbridos, 11 temas y 2 remixes con una gran variedad de sonidos y estilos que hacen que sea difícil  definir el álbum con un estilo musical concreto. En 2018 sacó Monos Sònics Ballen Jònics bajo el nombre "Los Nota", una colaboración con dos músicos. Este disco tiene la peculiaridad de gastar solo una nota en cada canción: 7 notas, 7 canciones.
Actualmente tiene varios proyectos en marcha con diferentes artistas y estilos, su próximo trabajo en solitario traerá 5 temas con sonidos tribales, melódicos, y muy limpios.

Born into a world where beats and melodies were as vital as the air itself, Moojo's musical journey began in the vibrant heart of the South of France, Nice. From an early age, Moojo displayed an innate connection to rhythms and melodies. He surrounded himself with diverse musical influences, ranging from traditional African & Latin sounds to modern electronic beats, laying the foundation for his unique musical identity.
As Moojo grew, so did his passion for music. He embarked on a relentless pursuit of knowledge, honing his skills in production and DJing. With an uncanny ability to blend many cultural styles of music with contemporary electronic elements, Moojo crafted a signature sound that resonates with audiences worldwide.

 Moojo quickly garnered support from industry giants Black Coffee, Diplo and Blondish. His early releases such as ‘Simba’, ‘Makasi’ EP and Mo Black's chart-topping ‘Lora’ were an instant success, with Black Coffee featuring the ‘Lora’ at Tomorrowland.
‘Desperado’ & ‘Vamonos’ (4.9M & 1.9M Spotify streams respectively), caught the attention of stalwarts like Rufus du Sol, Diplo, and Bedouin.
Upon Diplo's invitation, Moojo remixed ‘Fortress’ released on Diplo’s Higher Ground. 2020 introduced ‘Jupiter’, with Caiiro on remix duties.
His breakout hit, a remix of ‘Moth To A Flame’ by The Weeknd & Swedish House Mafia became an anthem and has over 7.1M streams on Spotify, propelling the track to ‘the most listened-to Afro house track of 2022’.
More recent collaborations include Demayä with ‘Lotus’, Da Capo with ‘Secret ID’ and Bun Xapa with ‘Hate It or Love it’, all under Moojo’s label, Calamar Records.

Calamar Records is a community of friends who shares the same vision of music and life. It defines a lifestyle where music, art, can be expressed by talented artists with creativity as the only barrier.

Based in Nice and created by a small family of French djs, the Label is born from the common need of freedom in creation and release of music, to share emotions and positive vibes with the world their own way, with the respect of values who define them.

“Calamar Records” is a strong international network of passionate artists from any kind having the label as its heart, freedom in the agenda and creativity, revisiting House, Indie and many cultural vibes around the Globe.
