Did you know that Ansonica was a type of wine grapes growing in Tuscany ? Well, I didn't, but what I knew was that @_ansonica_ is a very cool Italian DJ based in Berlin! Co-founder of @cosmic.circuit.bln with @eclectic.elektra she can be found sharing her happy vibe across the city, adding her energy and her touch to the scene. For this set she cooked us a mix of genres that made her think of "sexy & hot vibes", gradually turning up the heat as the mix goes on. A true story is developed here, using different inspirations but all centered around a main theme. Every song in this selection will make you feel like in the middle of a heatwave during a summer night (you know, the ones where you can walk barefoot and even the concrete is still warm). Thanks so much for sharing your universe!! 🔥

This week on Topshelf we're gassed to have with us UK-born, Berlin-based DJ / Producer Radondo.
 
Quickly becoming a prevalent artist within the German Capital, Radondo has become a resident and close affiliate of the revered Slow Motion Records, he has honed a versatile sound, playing regularly at the likes of Renate and HÖR Radio.
As a producer and remixer, Radondo has had a steady run of releases on labels such as Wrong Era, Loose Fit Records, Ritmo Fatale and Fucanglong Files.

Merging his love for arcane soundscapes with ethereal analogue synth lines, he has gained recognition for his captivating consistency and support from the scene’s greats. Tying together his Post-Punk, EBM, and New Beat influences, Radondo creates a tantalising atmosphere drenched in nostalgia through forward-thinking production and energetic selections that have lit up dance floors from Vilnius to New York.

With a superb mix for us, stacked full of italo energy and post-punk influence, we're extremely happy to bring Topshelf 089 and the ever infectious sounds of Radondo. Enjoy

Mousky is a young Parisian DJ straight out of a science fiction novel. A regular at clubs, but faithful to alternative venues in keeping with her ecologist and feminist commitments, her retro-futuristic, dreamy and organic universe draws on cinema, cyborgs and nature: she explores under layers of synthesizers, between space and dark disco, acid house, new wave and rock influences. By night, she takes her audiences to more (cyber)punk sounds, somewhere between EBM, techno and electroclash, for cathartic, rebellious atmospheres. Enjoy our guest mix 027!
