Derock was born in raised in the city of Atlanta. Running the streets of East Atlanta made him see alot of things and experience life as an adult while he was still a child. He has been intune with music since a youngster from playing in the band at MLK high school to making beats. The rapping is just a way of expressing how he feels about his life and his hood in a unique way that many people can relate to , near and far.
