Jordan has been one of my favorite composers on flat for quite a long time. Ever since he and I did a section together in the Antibattle I realized how great our styles intertwined. This song felt so natural to me, Jordan's melodies inspired my own and together we made a piece I believe we are both extremely proud of. I spent over 2 months on this, and I could spend several more months making it better, but this was the deadline.

I'm very happy with how the guitar tone and drums turned out, though, considering I used Superior Drummer 3 for the drums, and a $200 HSS Squier Stratocaster with all digital plugins, no physical gear beyond the interface.

Emulating a real drum performance with Superior Drummer 3 took about a month. There was a crazy amount of tempo changes, and sometimes the nudge function wasn't precise enough.

Vocals could be better, but hey, I'm not Serj, and I had a week to do them.
