<Unbreakable contagious dance and an enthusiastic ambiance>
That’s how Zykled, the Zurich-based DJ describes the feeling that brought him here. For the most part, his musical influence came through close friends, and from there it proceeded toward Industrial, Hard dance. Apart from Hard Dance, Zykled has always been a Hard Trance fan, and though he is not primarily playing Hard Trance, he is certainly throwing it- in those scratches here and there.

Since he started playing, the conceptual interaction he wants to achieve while performing, is beyond just playing and further about- understanding his crowd, winning their trust, and being guided by them. Yet, lead them into the eager feeling that he brings into being. He is on a mission to share the endless energetic atmosphere that he has experienced while dancing to his favoured DJs and to some goddesses' records.

Quickly noticed and supported by SNTS, Gijensu MRD and Caravel, this force of nature from Toulouse now has only one desire: to destroy (subtly) and conquer (in a friendly way?) as many stages as possible. 

It is with joy that we welcome Artisan in our roster, a beautiful adventure is presented to him and we are looking forward to guide him in his future choices.

SOENNICHSEN K is a DJ and producer based in Geneva, Switzerland. He is co-founder of the DERESTRICT collective, which promotes independent and uncompromising techno through releases, podcasts and events offering an accessible and inclusive space of freedom for all.

He delivers fast, epic and dark techno sets, inspired by the free parties and the Berlin club spirit. As producer, he already has several releases on various labels such as Nacht Sieger or the Brvtalist. This podcast includes a lot of unreleased material from his highly-anticipated next EP that will be released on next December 2nd.

We are pleased to present the third episode of the new season of terrorcast, which has become a full-length two-hour story. Its author was Ømen, a French-Italian producer and DJ, co-founder and resident at the London based techno event/label MASS. 
In these two hours, you will fully experience his passion for darker shades of techno and his skillful ability to combine a raw and aggressive sound with melancholic melodies.

We asked the musician a few questions so that you can get to know our new guest better.

Big part:

1. Why Ømen?
An Omen is defined as an event regarded as a portent of good or evil. I felt that this definition characterised my musical influences and style well while also illustrating the reality of life, that it can be filled with joy or immense pain. I also chose Ømen due to its religious connotation and the irony of utilising a religious symbol in relation to a genre and scene often described as ‘blasphemous’. I often incorporate mystical, esoteric, and religious sounds into my productions and therefore felt it was a suitable name that encapsulated well what I represent as an artist.

2. Work/life balance: how do you combine?
This is the toughest part. Beside music I also follow my other passion of working in the mental health sector supporting people in their recovery journey. Balancing my Ømen projects, my event and label MASS, and work means a lot of organisation, planning, and compromises. 

3. What inspires you?
Emotion. I believe that what makes music truly special is the connection it evokes amongst people, the emotions, and the memories that it can provoke. I tend to be driven by the way a track makes me feel and aim to turn that into a story to share amongst my audience.

4. Do you go to clubs to relax or just work?
Mainly to relax, but it is also part of work as it is important to gain inspiration from the dance floor, to connect to the energy that is so unique to the clubbing and rave scene, and to network with people too. 

5. If Bristol is the capital of trip hop, then what is the sound of London?
London is vast and has had an immense influence on music, which is what attracted me to move to this city originally. London is arguably one of the birthplaces of classic & punk rock, and has heavily influenced or pioneered other genres including the likes of grime, acid techno, drum & bass, jungle, dub, UK garage, jazz, classical music, and many others. 

6. What advice would you like to receive at the beginning of your career?
Practice consistently, strive for continuous improvement and never give up. I feel we can be our own worst enemy at times when striving for perfection. Remember that this is a process that takes time and that failure is part of the journey.

7. If you knew that you were playing your last set, what track would you finish with?
