Monday afternoon set in the beautiful lounge of La Felicità, our incredible home camp, I was blessed to warm up the space for an incredible week of creation to follow. 

Burning Man has been a long time coming, and it was a dream come true to share some music on my first day landed in this amazing and zany alternate reality.

It's one a.m. on Friday night, and I'm sitting on the floor in a beautiful massive teepee at Mycelium Festival. A fire warms the center of the space, and friends are circled around, lying on blankets and pillows as the Serendipity Tea Lounge serves tea, and it's such a viiiiibe.

I have no idea where we are going to go. I don't know what I'm going to play. I close my eyes and let the music take us.

Friday in the Tea House at KISS was magic. The rain and mud forced us to slow down and just BE with each other as we weathered the storm. It created a full range of experiences in our little tea tent. The intimacy and connection it invited created one of my favorite experiences in 15 years of Burning Man... it was an honor to create a soundscape.

I recently went to Lightning in A Bottle and got the worst stomach bug of my life. Had to be taken to the hospital, luckily when I got home I had the chance to go to these wonderful healing waters of the Yuba River. I'm grateful to be alive and that I get to enjoy this wonderful place.

It inspired me to make a mix when I got home. Hope you enjoy it!

On Sunday night after the Temple Burn at Burning Man, I played an impromptu 3-hour set at the sexiest party I’ve ever experienced on the playa, hosted at Camp KISS. 🔥Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to record it.

However, this past Friday, I had the opportunity to recreate those unforgettable vibes at a Decompression Party for my Camp KISS and Burner family at The Portal Marin. My two friends Jaleh Love and Lady Kiah were in support with live vocals and trumpet, which made it extra special. This time, I made sure to capture the magic. ✨

It was a special night filled with so much fun, love, and connection and I feel so much gratitude for my Camp KISS Burner community. I hope you enjoy it! ❤️

Tulum Come Down

This mix is inspired by two incredible weeks I spent in Tulum, Mexico to begin the new year. I'm grateful to have been able to play music with some extremely talented artists, at some amazing venues, both indoor and outdoor.  From the pristine white sand beaches, to the tropical heat of the jungle, to the dusty pavement of the small town, one can really feel a magical connection with this land. We danced with passion, explored the jungle, swam in cenotes, slept on the beach, took naps in hammocks, ate phenomenal fresh local cuisine, watched the sunset and sunrise daily, and celebrated life with many beautiful friends, both old and new. This mix is dedicated to all those wonderful people. The sonic journey ends with a field recording I made on the last day; one final rain shower to wash away any and all remaining negative energy. I hope this mix relaxes you and takes you on positive journey, guiding you into a healthy and prosperous 2016.  ~ Sabo
