“nyathi par an” explores the non-linearity of healing and growth. Directly translating to “my child” from Dhopadhola, an Eastern-Ugandan dialect, the music calls for the listener’s inner child to show up, and feel. Opening with “three much”, we hear laughter and banter, jovially floating over a lush chordal and rhythmic bed. In “fodi ku bino”, an esoteric yet deeply hopeless call for patience is made. Translating to “has not come yet”, the composition expresses loss and grief over pedestalising potential. “npa_interlude” revisits a 4-year-old conversation, admitting to the power of music as a tool for spiritual reconnaissance. Undoubtedly, “sacred” is a staccato ballad about interpersonal surrender—a coupling of naiveté with hope for renewed love. Closing with “nairobi vice”, the hard-hitting instrumental sonically denotes the dark and excruciating vices rampant in the city.  
Through this 5-track EP, the listener indulges in the nascent shaping of Safari Trap, a sonicscape the artist concocts through eloquent blends of alté, R&B, and alternative genres.
