DJ'ed in clubs, pubs & outdoor events from breakbeat, old school house to my passion hip hop for 21 years. DJ'ed mostly where I am from in Newcastle, UK and a resident in a club "Hollywoods" in Germany (Most week nights and every weekend) whilst serving in the British Army. Moved to the States and ended up selling my entire vinyl collection ..........Gutter !!!! I have save mixes from then and mess around on Serato now. I have just recently started buying vinyl again, it will be tough to get what I had back then, especially the original pressings and there is nothing much better than putting on a record, listening to the static and the track starts, taking you back to that memory !!

Like any other old school DJ, coming from the UK and trying to grasp that emotion from the days of Kool Herc playing vinyl and mixing them together, creating a party atmosphere in the Bronx with his house parties, as well as Bambaataa, Flash, Caz, Jazzy Jay, Mario the disco king who started this whole culture due to the struggles that emerged through the Bronx (The home of Hip Hop)

I know that music plays a huge part in most peoples lives and not realize it, It is everywhere you go, there is a rhythm in all elements of your surroundings. I am open to all genre's of music with the exception of country, it takes a certain person to enjoy that sound. Music is the link to almost everything in my opinion and experience, I think that it should be a therapeutic approach to today's problems, everyone has their different issue's and it is a lot harder to cope with today's society on top of normal, everyday living. We all need to help the next person, regardless of the issue's they are having.

That is why I think music, used in the proper sense of selection, frequencies, genre, lyrics, samples, beat, rhythm. Today's mainstream music is hurting the people who are passionate about what music can do for you and using it to help, It can be damaging and that all started when digital streaming exploded, lyrics can be used to voice an opinion, samples can be used for any track, A beat is the rhythm to the soul and the universe. There is a lot to learn for everyone, we all have our own ability towards the composition of music, from a simple drum loop, a simple mix to a full E.P.

I think applying other people's needs for a safe place, torment, mockery, abuse in any shape or form. I have witnessed music to be damaging, that is the power of music.
