DesastaMasta was born in the early eighties in Berne, Switzerland. Soon already he discovered his love to the full blast of electronic music, when it evaporated in the late nineties. At the young age of sixteen years he discovered vinyl for himself and started baby steps mixing with Hardtechno, followed by Hardcore later on. Still he felt he was missing a spark.

In 2006 he got his longed-for opportunity and became a part of a producing session which opened up a big door to a whole new world. In this year, DesastaMasta arises and started making his own songs himself.

A year later, in 2007, DesastaMasta teamed up with two good friends and AudioManiacs was established. AudioManics as a group produced many songs, mainly Frenchcore, and their music shot through the roof. Soon enough their name was known in the whole of Switzerland, and every weekend their hard sound evaporated through the speakers of clubs and festivals all year round. 

Very shortly word spread and they already started to have bookings in Europe – Italy (MOH Outdoor – Italian Freakz, 2009 and Sunbeat, 2011) as well as Austria (Hell or Heaven, 2011). Their hard tunes fascinated people all over Europe and every event they drove up to was sold out in no time. 

Three albums and five years of extremely successful and hard work later, DesastaMasta decided to start a solo career. He felt the urge to produce something of his very own style – inspired by cultures, nature and movies. This also turned out to be highly victorious with completely sold out bookings in Italy, Germany, Belgium and Netherlands, not to forget Dr.Peacock: ICON's Birthday. 

After a short break, DesastaMasta is back 2021 with new and fresh sound with blasting kicks, which makes his style unique.
