A paradise of long sandy beaches lay beneath the feet of fortresses from a bygone age. Arab, Christian, and Roman stories have played out in Palma de Mallorca, above the turquoise waters of the Bay of Palma. It's here, in this historic layer cake that David Carrillo was born and bred. His attraction to music came from a young age and deepened from year to year, as he cut his teeth in the studio, and in the booth of local pubs and parties. His prowess as a producer is now only matched by the myriad of aliases that he has amassed over the years. A restless musical soul whose creativity strives for true representation. As Difid he curates the infinitely groovy Parsatik imprint. An outlet for his devastating dancefloor bombs that heave and sigh with energy and poise. Alongside this, he's released under both DCP & Dakpa. Laying claim to releases on well-respected labels such as @Sukhumvit-Records, @CurteaVeche, @MulenRecords, @AMAM-2 & @Caph-Records... and the list goes on. This amongst his co-founding and continued contributions to all-star producer team @Befogmusic. 

It's clear that a talent of this magnitude has creative energy like few others, and it's a true pleasure to host Difid on our series.

Owner & head of Full Scale parties.
At the age of 5, Adema entered the Conservatoire when starting his classical music education playing the piano. Being mentored by a jazz teacher, his musical spectrum expanded, and his particular creative vision developed itself further. Through the « Full Scale » project, he’s been redefining and reaffirming his musical identity while making a name for himself in the minimal and micro sphere. 

He finds a lot of inspiration in jazz and classic music, he has also listened a lot to hip-hop music, what he loves about those genres is the groove, whereas in classical music, it’s the dynamic & emotion. He aspires to get the best out of both the classical and electronic worlds and tries to connect both together. He thus strives for symphony through harmony and dynamic by using true electronic sounds that hold a certain purity, similar to acoustic instruments.

Descendcast 016 Adema

Really pleased to announce this vinyl only podcast from Adam Mclean, founder of Descend Coventry, he has been Djing since back in 2004 and is continuing to leaned towards the more minimal spectrum of the sound. He has played at a variety of venues across UK and the globe along side some respectable names in the industry. Adam has started his own project Descend with the aim to bring the minimal sound to the Midlands.
Not an owner of records shop but a great collector of over 700 records.

The next mix of our series comes from our friend, Meibe. He was born in Giannitsa, a small rural city near to Thessaloniki in 1998.
His first point of contact with electronic music was at a young age when he has been attracted and affected by the underground scene in Romania and Germany. From his childhood he used to be ensuthiastic about Greek rap music. At the same time his uncle also played an important role in his development - together they were listening to compact discs of American, German and French rappers. As of now, he creates his own music with a unique sound.
The mix was made almost entirely from his own releases.
