I wrote this song for a german play named 'Carla' (2019). The piece was written by Timon Furchert (now studying acting) and Linda Rabisch who was also responsible for the costumes and Anselm Hünel (directive tasks).

The main role Carla, portraited and played by Erika Petzhold, is a 15 year old girl who suffers under the divorce of her parents. School, friendship, love interests: everything goes off and seems hopeless and is breaking apart. At the main cathartic point, Carla sings this song when she can have at least a glimpse of hope.

Timon gave me just one limitation by writing this song: it has to be named "Hope". So I did the best I could and this is the product. Originally this song was just performed with guitar and vocals. Because this song was played and accompanied live. After nearly two and half years I am now ready to present the full arrangement of the song. 

For all of you who have read this till the end: thank you very much and I hope you will like my very first original written song. Writing lyrics is something I will have to improve over time ;)

a track I have been working on with plex for a while now.  each time I try to turn it into a real song it gets worse.  this is the original sketched idea I sent to plex.  the drums and the bass guitar are https://soundcloud.com/plex-auchta , and the vocals (all way too many of them) are me.
