Two titans of the electronic scene, @D-Nox & @StereoUnderground deliver two new gems.

After the hit single „Dolby“ on Einmusika, both artists are back with their next EP titled, “Gruuve.”

The lead track is a melodic deep groover that starts to get all wobbly and freaky, as the real filthiness and energy unfolds. Big and Bold!

And the second track 'Creativity' is more stripped back with spoken word. It’s techno slanted flavours are released before some nasty bass vibes flow… it packs a real punch!

Germany's D-Nox, one half of D-Nox & Beckers, runs his own Sprout record label while touring heavily as a solo DJ. His music has graced other big labels such as Selador and Stil Vor Talent to name a few. 

Stereo Underground, a leading figure in the Israeli new school techno sound runs Tel Aviv's BPM College, while releasing on Einmusika, Lost & Found, UV and Sprout.

Everybody’s favourite Adrian Hour is finally back on SNOE, and this time he has joined forces with his phenomenal friend Ale Castro. Both hailing from beautiful Argentina and living and breathing music, you know this combination can’t go wrong. Stacked with rhythm, their track “Club der Misionaere” lifts off the ground with acid inspired synths and impeccable drum work. As a genre transcending ode to curiosity and the appreciation for a good life, we move between the catchy groove and dreamy synths. It is just as wicked as life itself can be, promising sunrises, sunsets and never-ending nights filled with new experiences. SNOE label boss himself, Andreas Henneberg, joins in on the fun as he takes on the remix duty for the track. In classic Henneberg-style the remix oozes of sweaty club nights, with a rough groove and naughty, playful synths that twirl around ever-changing percussions. It drives forward, building up massive momentum before we dive into the ecstatic break. This release is all we wanted, and more. Please enjoy our SNOE nr. 74!

'Raumakustik lands on SNOE with a bang. These two guys are known for their driving and catchy productions, which is why we are more than happy to let them set off the new year with a proper rocket launch. Somewhere between tech house and naughty ass techno, “Backyard Swing” does not mess around. The original version drops a heavy groove as the foundation for the wicked and gritty synth that pulsates forwards. It backs big momentum when building up the tension with a gnarly and ecstatic vibe to it. But, the guys also made a raw cut packed with energetic drums and an incredible drive. Reworking the tune in a more techno-focused direction has put an extra layer of fire underneath the already phenomenal and quirky elements, giving us a proper big room style. Enjoy these different takes on one massive tune!'

Next up for Desert Hearts Black comes a transatlantic meeting of minds in the form of ‘Fade’ by heavy hitters John Monkman & Rinzen. 

As two artists with solo careers already in high gear, John and Rinzen have been in each other's orbits for a number of years via remixes and mutual collaborators. This marks their first track together - and what a debut it is! 

John is signed to a number of great imprints including Kompakt, Ellum and Last Night On Earth, and with a Beatport #1 and the endorsement of the scene’s elite behind him, he debuted his new live show at none other than Coachella Festival in 2018 wowing the critics in the process. 

Rinzen is a product of the burgeoning LA dance scene. Breaking out in 2017, he’s quickly established himself with releases on labels like Bedrock, Oddity and Factory93. Widely described as having an otherworldly sound, his unique soundtrack has delighted fans around the world at shows as diverse as Printworks (London), Stereo (Montreal) and beyond. 

Aimed squarely at the peak time, ‘Fade’ launches into life from the first beat. Techy percussion and synth washes marry with the killer drums for instant impact. Melodies up the ante - creating a sense of dancefloor euphoria from the first drop. Growing throughout the track, the tension is finally lifted with rich vocals delivered by Monkman, leading to an emphatic finale. An anthemic journey that will delight clubland all through 2023.

Premiere: Diego Infanzon - Thank Your For My Children (Dense & Pika Remix) [Sous Music]

And we are back with our second SNOEflakes of the year, the lucky SNOEflake nr. 13! This little groove-loaded package is exactly what you need for the summer. First off, Lars Moston is joining the SNOEfamily with his incredible tune “Where We Breathe”. This is a fierce track that shakes the ground with its one-off powerful and bouncy bassline. Lars puts his unique skills to work, serving us a driving groove, rough vocals and popping synths. It is the perfect statement track for the club. 

Secondly we are very excited to welcome back our dear friend Boneb to the label. This master of grooves serves us his new track “Get Dirty” with tons of coolness. In classic Boneb-style, the track carries a heavy bassline and perky percussions that push and pull along the vocal elements. It is a tune packed with attitude and grit, just as we like it. 

Two heavy-hitting, bass-spitting tracks destined to be heard on those big speakers. Let’s go!

Boneb - Get Dirty (Original Mix)

Beth Lydi makes her debut Desert Hearts Black with a huge new EP featuring Camea on remix duties. 

Oslo born but Berlin based, Beth’s infectious sound sits somewhere between techno and house. Fresh and vivacious, she’s played all over the world as well as release on Dirtybird, Get Physical and more.

Opening with ‘Baklengs’, that deep and bass-led sound pounds the speakers from the first bar. The Norwegian words “Du kan ikke gå baklengs inn i fremtiden” translates “You can’t go backwards into the future”, a phrase that refers to how we go about our own life journey. Filled with clever FX touches and a solid low end vibe, it’s not long before you’re grooving away. Midway the bass flavour intensify. Pure dancefloor glue! 

‘Lucid Nights’ is a more considered cut. Deeper and more vocal, it takes its time to draw you in, but once it does, it never lets you go. On remix duties, Kompakt regular and dystopian sci-fi techno pixie, Camea strips the track back to spacious percussion and warehouse drums delivering a killer groove.

Berlin’s first lady, Anja Schneider, remixes Marbs’ recent hit record, ‘Whitefence’ 

Everyone has their origin story, Anja’s begins with the legendary club, Tresor. After a magical first experience and an epiphany that Techno could be her life’s journey, Anja moved to Berlin and set out to make her dreams come true. Some 30 years later, she has achieved more than she could ever imagine. A DJ throughout the ‘90s, she opened her production portfolio in 2005 with a Sebo K collaboration on her new imprint, Mobilee, a label which would become seminal. After 12 years at the helm, she launched her new venture SoUs and continues to push a warm, richly musical, tech sound. 

For her remix, Anja strips the original back to basics and injects a a ton of funk. Opening with wonky fx and a tough kick, subtle disco bass and vocal ad libs keep it groovy, baby. Riding the automation, the bassline mutates and envigorates to the break where a moment of calm is broken by a dancefloor of happy clubbers dancing their troubles away. A classic sound from the queen of clubland!

Marbs - Whitefence (Anja Schneider Remix)

Something of a musical savant, Argentinian maestro Martin has been honing his craft since the tender age of 15. Now signed to some incredible labels including Infinite Depth, Sinners and Steyoyoke, his deep melodies and dark sound is quickly finding favour with the global DJ elite. 

‘They Won’t Be There’ is a glorious drumwork out that just gets better and better. Melodic swells unleash the energy midway, where the track explodes into life. ‘Arritmia’ explodes from the speakers from the off. A sleepy giant to start with, it wakes up with melancholic fury and emotive rapture. Spiky synths marry orchestral pads for a wondrous late night wig-out. Equally, 

On remix duties are two artists with worldwide weight and name. Analog Context toughens up ‘Arritmia’ for the main room floor with a thunderous low end and stripped back percussive framework. Axel Haube drops a four to the floor beat and focuses on the rich tapestry of melodics for a darker late night groove.

Desert Hearts Black label boss Marbs is rounding off this wild year with a very special treat. When we think about 2023, it's been a year filled with highs and lows, good and bad. So what better way to end the year than with a tune that is not only capable of bringing out massive emotions on the dance floor, but also gives room for reflection? We know Marbs as a musical butterfly, making music that defies genre classification. "The Devil's Love" is Marbs in a brand new suit, something you have never heard from him before.

In "The Devil's Love", Marbs creates a transcendental atmosphere with an elegant piano and goosebump inducing vocals that smoothly draw us into the realm of breaks. A heavy bass sets in and together with the energetic groove it provides a powerful core, while keeping enough space for the intricate percussive elements. The track exceeds everything you thought you knew about Marbs, making it the perfect end to one year and the start of another.
