You know you’re doing something very, very right when your Coya DJ residency expands to include sister venues in Abu Dhabi, Monaco, Sardinia , London, Paris and Mykonos. Then again, hard work has come naturally to Romanian born DJ Alex Twin during his career.Armed with a set of decks by 16, a vinyl DJ at 19 and running Bamboo Club Bucharest at just 21 and a guest at leading Romanian club Fratelli, he made the move to Ibiza where success quickly followed.

Playing a mix of Electronic , Afro House and Melodic Techno vibes to fit each venue, he also held residencies at Palm Beach Ibiza, Cala Bassa Ibiza, Elephant Ibiza and Café Mambo Ibiza.Sharing the decks alongside big names like Adriatique, H.O.S.H , Oxia, Laolu , FNX Omar, Megablast and many others, he developed his own sound and style. Before making the move to the UAE 7 years ago, becoming a full time DJ and producer and Coya’s rising star.

With his profile rising in the emirate, he’s become an in-demand DJ including playing at the Monaco and Abu Dhabi F1 after parties and the Official Cannes Film Festival after party DJ.A producer with a growing reputation, with EPs recently released to labels like All Day I dream, Pipe & Pochet, Bercana Music and Coya Music, his music has been strongly supported by Lee Burridge , Lost Dessert , Blondish and many others.
His latest EP signed on "Pipe & Pochet" went out in January 5th and it gained unexpected hype in the Electronic Music industry, proving that Alex Twin continues to do all the right things in his growing DJ and production career.

For a mid-week Burn day plagued by power and sound issues, interpersonal challenges, heat exhaustion, and countless other hiccups, this vibey organic set by our brother i.am.nãda was a melodic close to what turned out to be a beautiful evening. While he played, our brothers and sisters at YOUniversal managed to serve bountiful plates of Persian dinner in the middle of the unforgiving desert to hundreds of hungry Burners, many of whom waited for over an hour in a line wrapped around the bend, 3 camps deep. The outright gratitude in service of Persian culture and YOUniversal in particular can be felt long after you've been graced by their presence... 

...and thanks to a gracious introduction to our celestial brother Nãda by our sister Gilda last year at our mini-Burn at Cielos, we have been lucky to have this genuine soul as part of our extended family. He loves as if it's second nature with an almost innate ability to give more than he receives. But receive we did, with this nearly-2 hour set of uplifting world beats, serenading us under the vast starlit sky. To witness Nãda's seemingly effortless delivery is to experience an alchemy of frequencies, a magnificent merging of analog and digital existences that create a unique soundscape that fits perfectly amidst the cultural landscape of YOUniversal. 

Soulestial Carnival is blessed to have a home at YOUniversal at Burning Man and in 2022, we brought our Soulestial soundsystem to bring the gift of music, accompanying our camp's Wednesday night open dinner.

"YOUniversal offers a Persian Tea House designed by Gregg Fleishman, and for 6 hours each day we offer desert-friendly drinks along with exotic sweets and sour treats, some parlor games, and poetry & fortune telling - all based on Persian culture. Since our camp consists heavily of veteran Burners of Persian descent, YOUniversal is really good at two things that can be helpful on the playa: hospitality and fun desert-dwelling wisdom."

Xinobi is a part of a generation that grew up within the music-blog eruption fueled by Do-It-Yourself ethics. Together with his friends and work-partners Moullinex and Mr. Mitsuhirato he gave birth to the still-growing-in fl uent Discotexas. After releasing a few solid EP’s on Discotexas as well as Anjunadeep, Frau Blau, Do No Sit, MoBlack, Radiant and Ministry of Sound, he gained real recognition among more established and well-known artists and opinion-makers, as his underground cult ampli fi ed. In the 5th episode mix is crafted by MEL7EM (@mel7em_official)- music artist creating ethereal storytelling electronic music rich with melodies, feelings, and emotions that re-writes the dictionary of electronic music.

His music is a mixture between today's modern techno sounds and deep exotic melodies pulling out some of the MiddleEast's forgotten gems, and other ethnic world music, namely the rich sounds of India, Egypt, Persia, Turkey, Armenia, South America and many more. We are kicking off 2021 with an old friend of ours: Valeron

Generally recognized as the top DJ on the island of Mykonos, Valeron is definitely one of the longest standing and most omnipresent figures of the ever-shifting local music scene.

Soon after relocating to Mykonos, he became a producer releasing tracks that helped register his name in the Deep House and Electronic genre. This carried him through to becoming a founder of the Bercana Music label and releasing 2 personal albums already “Amare” & ‘’Aigaio’’. Valeron’s albums introduce a unique combination of traditional Greek instruments and Electronic beats.

Every Saturday at Scorpios Mykonos Valeron leads ‘’Scorpios World’’ where he performs live alongside Greek musicians of instruments such as the clarinet, violin, Ney,Bouzouki, Saz, Oud,Santur and many more. With lots of originals and remixes that had climb on top of Beatport charts, on May 2019 he will release his third personal album.
