Founded in May 2015, RAINEY consists of Lana Rainey (Southern, California), Ben Siebold and Trevor Ault (Denver, Colorado), and Landon Woods (SE Missouri). The four met in Nashville, TN as college students and immediately bonded over their interest in writing and performing music. What started as casual dorm room jam sessions for the guys turned into something more serious and they began searching for a vocalist. Lana Rainey entered the band after coming off the release of a solo EP, ' These Aren’t About You', which received airtime on Nashville’s own alternative radio station, Lightning 100. The geographical separation between the various hometowns of the group heavily influenced the styling and sound of RAINEY’s song writing, creating a blend of beachy, alt-rock music. RAINEY is currently writing and preparing to record their first E.P. which will be out Fall 2015.
