MARCO FARAONE - UNCOMPROMISED MOOD EP [drumcode]

Despite his tender age, the Italian producer Marco Faraone recently released his "Floor Attack EP" on Truesoul and is working tirelessly to promote himself on the international music scene with unstoppable releases with some of the most esteemed labels, namely Desolat, Moon Harbour, Sci+Tec, Get Physical Music and Cècille. Marco’s EP sees him continue to rise to the top with an impressive debut on Drumcode that showcases his considerable dynamic production talent, not trapping himself into one style, but ranging continuously between new shades of sound and new experimental aural flavors.

The vinyl will include 3 original tracks characterized by raw techno sounds and solid atmospheres. On the A side ‘Sonic Mood’ produced alongside his friend Piegaja, is a massive peak time tune with an unexpected twist within the break to create a unique experience. The B-side opens with ‘Running Fast Today’, once again a strong powerful record with dark atmospheric synths that create a uncompromising mood. ‘Uncompromised’ rounds off the three track EP and is another chunky, drum driven record. Laced with a cheeky melodic stab, the track is notoriously funky and will work well on the dance floor.

Reading-born producer Cowlin is back on Sweatrz Records with the 'On My Mind' EP, and it’s the kind of release that will light up basements, rooftops, and festivals alike.

Cowlin started his journey as a bedroom producer at 19, teaching himself the craft with nothing but passion, persistence, and a serious ear for grooves. Early inspiration from Detroit icons like Kevin Saunderson and Carl Craig gave him the blueprint, but his sound now sits right in the heart of today’s underground house scene.

The 'On My Mind' EP packs two cuts of rolling energy, chunky basslines, and hypnotic hooks. Each track carries that Cowlin bounce, a style he’s been sharpening across his recent releases, built for late-night moments when the crowd is locked in and the floor is shaking.

“It feels good to return to Sweatrz with another release,” says Cowlin, and you can hear why. This one is all about forward momentum, stripped-back grooves, and dancefloor chemistry that DJs will love.

Not so long ago two great friends left the country where they lived and moved to Brooklyn, NY. There they re-builded their studio, produced new tracks far away from day-in day-out madness of the life they left behind for a while.
In this creative and intimate isolation the idea of the label came up – just like the next step to be taken in their intense relation. In July 2007 this idea became reality when Desolat was born.

Desolat is now a Düsseldorf-based label founded by Loco Dice and Martin Buttrich. Both Dice and Buttrich had a long-standing artistic career in music before they decided to take a challenge and create a platform to release music they like independently and fast.
