Miguel Lobo is one of the best artists of Spanish underground scene: he released recently on labels like Circus, Moon Harbour or Do Not Sleep among others and his music is always supported and respected by the big names of the scene. Now is time to shake the dancefloor with 2 amazing original tracks and a remix made by new London rising star, Antss.

'Bounce 2 Me' was built around a lovely vocal sampling and a funky bassline, enough to make you dance until the sunrise. Antss took those elements, shift it up and made an uptempo track adding his minimal but groovy signature sound. For the other track included in the EP, Miguel teamed up with Rayzir and deliver a solid track built around Rayzir's vocal and plenty of harmonies, proving the wide pallette of sounds can Miguel offers us with huge success.

Here we have the new EP of the label produced by a new upcoming artist from the endless British talent pool: Riley (UK). He already released in labels like Issues or Short Circuit and now is the time of a fresh bunch of nice tracks: 'Fundamentally Funky' is groovy up-to-date house music, 'From Da Sampler' is minimal for the dancefloor and 'Let Us Begin' is about a huge bassline and some smart samplings. It's time to dance!

Max Chapman joins TBX Records with a standout tune called 'Bethany.' The track's low-end is tight and upbeat, with beautiful chords that roll around the bassline. The excellent drumming perfectly matches the bass pattern. The vocal line completes the song and gives it a brilliant vibe, making it the cherry on top. Enjoy!

The summer season might be all but over, but the good times keep on coming courtesy of this latest missile from Do Not Sleep by Luuk Van Dijk with a top remix from Ben Sterling.

Amsterdam based talent Van Dijk has had music in his bones since his youth and next to laying down sets at Paradise, Awakenings, elrow, Cocoon he has held a residency at Straf_Werk and released on taste making labels like Hot Creations, Solid Grooves, and Circus Recordings. He saves his best for Do Not Sleep however. 

In the District is tight, tough, hard hitting house music with interwoven drums and bass that get right under your skin and make you move, while synths and percussion peel off the busy groove. Blunted then marries warped basslines and crisp claps with woodpecker hits. It is atmospheric, stripped back but effective house that makes an immediate mark. The remix of In the District by fast rising UK talent Ben Sterling is another brilliantly direct track with prying bass loops, freaky vocal echoes and a late night sense of mischief. 

This is another vital offering from Do Not Sleep.

Not so long ago two great friends left the country where they lived and moved to Brooklyn, NY. There they re-builded their studio, produced new tracks far away from day-in day-out madness of the life they left behind for a while.
In this creative and intimate isolation the idea of the label came up – just like the next step to be taken in their intense relation. In July 2007 this idea became reality when Desolat was born.

Desolat is now a Düsseldorf-based label founded by Loco Dice and Martin Buttrich. Both Dice and Buttrich had a long-standing artistic career in music before they decided to take a challenge and create a platform to release music they like independently and fast.
