Italobros continues to impress with every release, showcasing a deep hypnotic sound that doesn’t just follow popular trends. Already a hit with everyone from Knee Deep In Sound to Saved, their unique and fluid sound covers all the bases from deep house, right through to main room tech vibes.

In original form, ‘Paradiso’ bumps from the off. Scattergun hats and rubbery bass that keep the grooves tight and dancefloor-focused, while autotuned vocals add a fun and off-kilter flavor. Providing a quality rerub to the pack are Juan (AR) and Marko Zalazar, a pairing with bags of talent and a few hits already under their belts with labels like Under No Illusion, Lost, Lapsus, and New Violence to name a few. Both based in Argentina, this vibrant duo bring a flair and intensity only the South Americans can do. Solid Grooves unveil their 2022 'Ibiza Sampler' as Michael Bibi and PAWSA invite seven of the label's residents and regulars for a huge summer offering.

2022 is shaping up to be a year to remember for Solid Grooves as they celebrate ten years in style with a host of stand-out shows, including OFF Sonar and Kappa Futur, alongside recent appearances at Space Miami, Fabric and Printworks.

However, the crown jewel in the programming undeniably comes via their biggest Ibiza season to date. With a move to renowned institution DC10 backed by lineups stacked full of talent, the collective only adds to things on the label front as they reveal their latest summer compilation. Opening the season in style, the nine-track 'Ibiza Sampler' welcomes the arrival of a stacked V/A with fresh heat from close friends and ever-impressing regulars.

In usual fashion, co-founders Michael Bibi and PAWSA contribute a pair of heavily-requested signature cuts, alongside peak-time and after-hours anthems from residents Dennis Cruz, Eddy M, Reelow, Ramin Rezaie and Bassel Darwish, plus label signees Classmatic and JUST2.

We are happy to have on board Hector Couto again on the label. Without any doubt, Couto has been one of the hottest Spanish electronic music artists for the last ten years and still kicking. In this new EP on the label we can find two solid original tracks with fat basslines, modular synth stabs and elegant buildups. For remix duties we have Rendher on board, putting the cherry on the cake to this awesome release.

Argentina's Bodeler makes his solo debut on Solid Grooves with his latest single, 'Gem'.

An eclectic talent whose productions usually span the more minimal-leaning end of the house spectrum, Argentinian-born DJ/producer Bodeler has built a wealth of global fans with his stripped-back and groove-heavy sound. Having released out on the label alongside Planet X boss Ben Sterling for their collaboration 'Unos, Dos Tres' in late 2022, he steps out solo on Solid Grooves for the first time with his latest single, 'Gem'.

Combining bumping bass licks and crisp drum shots formed around a provocative and playful female vocal, the bubbly 'Gem' is a bright, slinking track and a record that's been a constant across the Grooves Motel at DC10 in Ibiza this summer.

Not so long ago two great friends left the country where they lived and moved to Brooklyn, NY. There they re-builded their studio, produced new tracks far away from day-in day-out madness of the life they left behind for a while.
In this creative and intimate isolation the idea of the label came up – just like the next step to be taken in their intense relation. In July 2007 this idea became reality when Desolat was born.

Desolat is now a Düsseldorf-based label founded by Loco Dice and Martin Buttrich. Both Dice and Buttrich had a long-standing artistic career in music before they decided to take a challenge and create a platform to release music they like independently and fast.
