'African Electronic band, Bantwana’s are back again shortly after the recent success with their last release, ‘Gus & Lib EP’ on their own Bantwanas Kollektiv imprint, that saw them soaring to new heights. Their latest release is nothing short of what you’d expect from the global charting group and this time they’ve enlisted the skills of leading Cologne-based DJ and producer Tim Engelhardt to remix the title track off their EP, ‘In Silence’.

First up, Tim Engelhardt flips the original on its head, whilst skillfully maintaining the elegance of the original with his remix of ‘In Silence’. Lively acoustic drum patterns, ghostly pads and a playful synth melody encompass the lush vocals of the original while commanding a more upbeat variation on the tempo of the original.

Next up, Bantwanas set things off with a mesmerizing downtempo electronica track, ‘In Silence’. Embellished with hauntingly soulful vocals, organic African rhythms and an endearing melody, that sees Bantwana’s drive for perfection and creative exploration come head to head in this masterpiece. Closing off the EP with a class that has become known from these two artists, leaving you with a sense of what’s to come from them in the future.'

Our good old family member Konchord continues his journey and celebrates another release of his seasonal projects. His "winter" liveset included the beautiful "Drowsy Dawn", which we have the honour to feature today. It's one of the more adventurous electronica pieces, that comes with a certain wit, that does not only uplift the rest of the scene, but brings back fresh air and shakes things up from the usual structure. A bouncy bassline and a rocky, overdriven synth bring this story close to the listener and take him on a joyful adventure, that comes with a "twisted playfulness". If you have heard Konchord's music before, you know his approach to music is rather trying to stay uniwur and out of the usual format. This time, he does adapt to a more club-ready frame, while keeping the clear connection for the psychadelic sound, that keeps this EP in a unique position.

désolée is based in south of Germany. As he begins his solo project in 2015, he brings with him the rich experience of many years working with electronic music. Constantly expanding his musical experience and production skills has given him the opportunity of attaining a beautiful sounding. désolée has a strong sense for the deeper and melancholy side of electronic music. His tracks are deep, artful, and create a tranquil and intimate atmosphere. His live performances are always captivating, always offering something new, leaving his listeners eager to follow his latest sounds. He is getting increasing recognition for his own unique sound, and his creative approach to tracks and live PA.
