Chapter 2 - Vous
 
You never said the words, but I knew. The end was closer than you. I riffle through my old diary, sipping Merlot behind sunglasses at the Café de Paris. I remember exactly how I felt when I wrote that line. For a moment or too many, I drowned my self in despair. I knew right there and then that the one I loved was about to leave. So many days running on empty, running from my self after that cold Sunday in February.
Loved ones they vanish like footprints in snow…
It’s so hard to grasp. Here I am sunbathing instead of drowning, feeling alive again for the first time in years. All because of a girl with eyes of ember and a terrible accent. It’s five o’ clock in the afternoon and I know that I can’t have it any other way. It has to be you. I wish I had the courage to tell you how I feel. I open my diary and start writing on a new page. “I think it’s hard, impossible even, to be happy alone” Quoting a French film when she opens the door...

Weezer - Undone - The Sweater Song

Thousands of me is the third single from Emmecosta's mini LP Untied (released Jan 2016).

- Dreamy soundscapes, urban beats, and nordic coolness is what you get when you throw Positano, Milan, and Gothenburg into a mix. Throw in Claudio Pauline, Alfonso Fusco, and Aldo Axha and you get Emmecosta; a Gothenburg based Post-club trio.

Emmecosta released their debut single, ‘Brontos’ in July and followed up with 'Snowboy' in September. They just got back from playing a few shows in the UK, including opening for Chimes and playing a slot at Rockaway Beach Festival alongside Young Fathers & Ghostpoet, and a few dates in Germany.

Time is not linear, everything happens at the same time. At the same time that Adrian Recordings preparing the release of Laakso’s 5th album we are sitting in a dorm in Uppsala 2002 getting a demo from a guy called Markus Krunegård. The demo was then released as Laakso debut EP “Long Beach” on Adrian Recordings. Laakso then became one of Swedens’s fines indie bands with a long row of hits 2003-2007. Then Markus went solo and became one of Sweden’s biggest artists. Numerous hits, tours and rewards later he find himself together with his band mates in Laakso again. Back where it all started on Adrian Recordings. 

The new album is produced by Jari Haapalainen that also produced most of the early material, it will be released the 22 of April.
