Toy Tonics does the Spanish proto Hip-House! New artist ALOT, living in New York but comes from Argentina. 26-year-old multi-instrumentalist, rapper, producer, writer and skater who moved to the big apple right after school, trying to "make it" in the hometown of Hip Hop and street culture. His sound is infected by NYC culture in the late 80ies, when early rap and the Latin Bronx culture mashed up, when old school Breakdance Music started to morph into early Dance Music and the Disco clubs were thriving. The Latinos met Afro-American culture and big new underground movements were born, which were the foundation of street style, fashion and music trends over the last years. ALOT the youngster, goes back to the origins and brings up his very own, super fresh, totally rocking proto-house rap in a Latino way.

German producer Daniel Rateuke is known for his deep, tribal Afro house sound, combining rhythmic percussion and atmospheric melodies. He's released on top labels like Enormous Tunes and MoBlack, earning acclaim for his organic grooves.

Philadelphia’s Ursula Rucker is a powerhouse spoken word artist, blending hip-hop, jazz, and soul to tackle themes of love, race, and justice. She's worked with The Roots, 4hero, and Louie Vega, leaving a lasting mark on music and poetry.

Hungarian producer Mike Newman (N.W.N.) is a tech house heavyweight, with releases on Toolroom, Ministry of Sound, and Defected. His dynamic sound, mixing nu-disco, deep house, and big room vibes, has gained support from Mark Knight and Roger Sanchez.

More heat from the ever-dependable Dessous Recordings, Steve Bug’s outlet for his deeper-edged tastes. Jamie Anderson & Owain K delivered an exquisite summer moment in 2012, dropping their instant classic ‘Do You Know‘ to a rapturous reception from dancers and DJs alike.

"Jamie Anderson has been recording house and techno on various labels for the last 15 years, but it's his work with the UK's Owain K that piques our interest the most - a brilliant release" said Mixmag and gave it 9 out of 10.

Now, ‘Do You Know‘ gets a handful of stunning reworks, pushing the original into even headier directions.

The ‘Soul Minority House Mix‘ leaps out of the speakers - the Barcelona native maintains the track’s jazzy under-currents but adds a tougher 90s NY house edge to proceedings.

The ‘Inner Space Mix‘ is a depth-charged bomb from the UK based duo, an evolving underground monster propelled by a slick rhythm section and primed for massive reactions on discerning dance floors.

The ‘Jazz Reprise Mix‘ picks up on the inherent funk of the original, constructing an off-kilter house burner thanks in part to the addition of a delicious jazz piano, and that perfect, ever present vocal sample.

The ‘Soul Minority Club Mix‘ raises the tension yet another notch.

The ‘Deep Space Mix‘ does exactly what you might expect – a deep, trippy groover featuring an hypnotic bass line and minor chord synth stabs for that after hours vibe.
