Toy Tonics does the Spanish proto Hip-House! New artist ALOT, living in New York but comes from Argentina. 26-year-old multi-instrumentalist, rapper, producer, writer and skater who moved to the big apple right after school, trying to "make it" in the hometown of Hip Hop and street culture. His sound is infected by NYC culture in the late 80ies, when early rap and the Latin Bronx culture mashed up, when old school Breakdance Music started to morph into early Dance Music and the Disco clubs were thriving. The Latinos met Afro-American culture and big new underground movements were born, which were the foundation of street style, fashion and music trends over the last years. ALOT the youngster, goes back to the origins and brings up his very own, super fresh, totally rocking proto-house rap in a Latino way.

Back in 2020, our sister label Foliage Records dropped the stunning “Or Stay Alive”  by Daniel Rateuke and Ursula Rucker. Now in 2025, Papa Records is thrilled to present a fresh remix from Mike Newman, aka N.W.N.

German producer Daniel Rateuke is known for his deep, tribal Afro house sound, combining rhythmic percussion and atmospheric melodies. He's released on top labels like Enormous Tunes and MoBlack, earning acclaim for his organic grooves.

Philadelphia’s Ursula Rucker is a powerhouse spoken word artist, blending hip-hop, jazz, and soul to tackle themes of love, race, and justice. She's worked with The Roots, 4hero, and Louie Vega, leaving a lasting mark on music and poetry.

Hungarian producer Mike Newman (N.W.N.) is a tech house heavyweight, with releases on Toolroom, Ministry of Sound, and Defected. His dynamic sound, mixing nu-disco, deep house, and big room vibes, has gained support from Mark Knight and Roger Sanchez.

The gradual arrival of a deep and spritual melody is surprising and instantly turns the snaking drum tool of the introductory minutes into an anthemic, autumnal beauty.

The Thessalonika-based Echonomist‘s talents are far reachin and this grooving slow-house-80s-disco blend of `Real Love‘ is a perfect example of why! Featuring the powerful vocals of Berlin-based Mz Sunday Love, it‘s a wonderfully retro, superbly produced feel-good song concerning the love games of the night.
