Summer's here and the timing is right for another compendium of killer grooves from Dessous Recordings. 

Steve Bug's outlet for his more deep and soulful side perfectly captures the summer vibe. 15 cuts from Dessous artists set the tone - deep, lush, and rolling electronic music for long sunny days and outdoor parties.

Plenty of label regulars share some top quality cuts, including two tracks from Phonique with Erlend Øye, a pair of stormers from Echonomist, and two versions of Vincenzo & Language's epic jam 'Merry Go Round'. 

Elsewhere, the summer vibe is turned up to the max with the Balearic house sounds of Langenberg's 'Sun & Sorrow Dub' and Andy Ash's Mindflow. 

Alex Blaxx delivers his summer anthem in the shape of 'Gilmore Heureux', while Adrade, Safeword and Walking Shadow also bring serious deep heat to the party. 

Goldwill also serves up a burner in the form of 'Discooker (Boiling Water Dub)' and label favourites Jamie Anderson & Owain K are present and correct with their smash 'Do You Know (Soul Minority Club Mix)'. 

Curated by the masters of the deep over at Dessous, this compilation provides a perfect soundtrack to the summer madness.

Italo house at its best! This track is a new version of a tune that originally came out in 2014. produced by Toy Tonics boss Kapote.
Originally released under his former producer name MUNK. It sounds fresher now than back then, when it was too much ahead of its time.

This track works on any dance floor. It brings this special new school Italo vibe to every party. Made by Kapote back then when he was producing indie dance.
In case you don't know: Kapote used to produce music under the name MUNK and run an indie dance label called GOMMA. Back in the late 2000s he was producing music with LCD Soundsystem, Peaches, WhoMadeWho, The Rammellzee and others.  Now, Toy Tonics re-releases the song in a new version. Including remixes by Musumeci, Romain FX, Azari & III and Audiojack.

The late Danielle Moore's unmistakable vocals shine across two stellar reworks from Colleen 'Cosmo' Murphy who infuses her cosmic, acid-laced disco energy into the track. Her Cosmodelica Remix and Dub version blend trippy 303s, cowbells and deep grooves into something suitably fresh. Also included are two classic Unabombers mixes from 2009, and they offer raw house heat and dubbed-out psychedelia that serves as a fine floor-focused reinterpretation of a beloved anthem.

Crazy P - Stop Space Return [Cosmodelica Remix]

The idea for this song came together in the late 90's. The words were inspired by what I was experiencing at the time. It seemed like just a repetitive phrase at first, but after listening to it several times, I realized how something little meant so much. 
When I first sent this to the Snuff Crew, they immediately replied that they were interested in it. I took the song back in the studio and gave it a slight update.  I kept the original vocal and 707/808 drums. 
I updated the Bass line and used a Juno 60 as opposed to the original Prophet 600 sound. I'm both surprised and happy as far as the amount of attention this has received. I can't thank The Snuff Crew enough for inspiring me to finish this. Also want to thank Strictly Rhythm for taking it to the next level with their Digital release.  Currently the vinyl version is the only place you can get the Acid & Instrumental mix. Also there's is an  A capella version found only on the digital release. The Ep is now available at most record stores and digital online sites. Here are a few links.
