Tengo el enorme placer de presentar mi última sesión de 7 horas la cual he titulado BYE BYE 2013. Un largo recorrido a través de 365 días, plasmados en 420 minutos y compuesta por 115 temas. Este set recopila parte de los mejores temas del ritmo roto de este pasado 2013 bajo mi criterio musical. 

Esta idea nace con un único objetivo, que no es otro que hacer llegar nuestro sonido a todas esas personas que han dejado de escuchar BREAKBEAT. A esas personas que no conocen a los nuevos productores, sellos y que dicen que este estilo musical está muerto. A esas personas que han dejado de asistir a los eventos porque creen que ya no está de moda. A esas personas que están por su amor al estilo por su pasado y no por su futuro. A esas personas que siguen sin comprar un sólo MP3 y piratean el trabajo de personas humildes. ESTAMOS MAS VIVOS QUE NUNCA!

Quiero agradecer a todos los productores que se dan cita en este trabajo, gracias por este año lleno de buena música, en el que os deseo un feliz 2014 lleno de muchos éxitos musicales. Agradecer a todas las personas que están y siguen a pesar de los pesares. A toda la familia del Breakbeat mundial por tanto esfuerzo, hoy mas que nunca grito esta frase… BREAKBEAT WILL NEVER DIE! Hi everyone,

I have the big pleasure to present my last 7 hour session entitled BYE BYE 2013. A trip along 365 days enclosed in 420 minutes. This session presents the best 115 Break Beat tracks of the past 2013 under my musical criteria. 

This idea was born under the aim of reaching all those people who left aside this music, those who don´t know nowadays labels, producers, and those who still say that this music is dead. It is dedicated to those people who don´t come to Break Beat parties because it is not fancy anymore, those who gave their love in the past and they don´t give it anymore; those who don´t buy MP3s and pirate the work of tons of humble artists. WE ARE ALIVE MORE THAN EVER! 

I want to thank all producers who gather in this matter, thanks for the past year full of great music, where I wish a happy 2014 full of big success. I want to thank all people who are still there despite all. Thanks to the Break Beat family around the world for all the energy invested, today more than ever.... BREAK BEAT will never die! This session is dedicated to those people who still believe in me, to my family, my truly friends, my fans, and all those who still believe and work for this scene.

There has been no bigger new breakbeat act over the past few years than BSD, the enigmatic duo who burst onto the scene three years ago with their startling remix of Rennie Pilgrem's Rich Rule Us, and never looked back. A Breakspoll award, an album and a slew of No 1 singles later, few people had a clue as to who the guys under the masks
actually were, though there were always plenty of rumours flying around.

Well, iBreaks can now exclusively reveal that BSD was the musical brainchild of Spanish producer Colombo. Why the past tense, you may be asking with trepidation upon your lips? Well ... the answer is that BSD are no more. Now it's time for Colombo to embark on a new solo chapter and he's no longer involved with his former group. If you see any new BSD tunes emerging from here on in, be assured it won't be the old BSD we knew and loved that you're listening to. 
While that's all sad news for the breaks scene as a whole, it's good news for iBreaks Records, because Colombo has signed a deal to release his forthcoming solo material on the label. If you had any doubt who was pulling the BSD strings, check out Summit, a beguiling, heady slice of epic orchestral breakbeat custom designed for the summer festival season. Think peak era Hybrid with a deeper, 2011 vibe, soundtrack-style strings and piano lines backed with chunky beats and snatches of ethnic vocal. This is on a level way beyond anything you've heard before from Colombo, and in these days of disposable music it's the kind of tune that's going to be in your record box for years.

On the flip, CousCous takes us into even more introspective territory. This is a deep, tribal progressive roller with a strong eastern flavour - another highly ambitious track from an artist at the peak of his powers.

Emerging from the south of Spain, 23 year old producer Destroyers has been making quite an impact on the dance floor and for the break beat enthusiast around the globe. Creating music by the age of 14 using Rebirth he has become one of the greatest exponents of the break scene in Spain. In 2007 at the age of 16 he was on his way performing for more than 2000 people smashing the dance floors with his booty tear out and 2 step sets in every corner of Andalusia.
In 2010 Destroyers and his partners created Elektroshok Records showing its diverse talents and creative artists ranging from break beats, electro house, dubstep, and drum & bass. Since then producer Destroyers and Elektroshok Records have made an outstanding contribution to the break beat culture we see today. The label itself has been generating a lot of talk in the circuit and has been nominated as best new breaks label of the year in 2011. Appearing in DJMAG Magazine and nominated best revelation DJ and breaks label in 2010 his passion and creativeness has shown in all of his work by releasing some of the most influential break beat tracks that have enthusiasts and fans on the edge of their seat buzzing for more. Destroyers to say the least has set forth an amazing sound landscape and paved an influential path for the future of the culture and continues to rock the dance floors with his performances and have fans always wanting more.
