From early in life Bruce Derby has been a musician.  Bruce Derby was born with a passion, and technical inclination to play music. His earliest influences came from his parents.  He started playing his first instrument when he was six years old then played instruments from all the instrument groups as he grew up.  Still young, his parents bought him his first electric guitar, naturally he started a band.

Drawing from rock, jazz, electronic, classical, country, and more, his work expands the boundaries of hip-hop while honoring its core. These aren’t just mashups, they’re sonic worlds.
