Postpunk inspired, Neo-ColdWave+Italo outfit D e t a c h m e n t s have gained admiration from numerous luminaries such as Andrew Weatherall, Joy Division’s Peter Hook (who joined the band for a show), Trevor Jackson (who produced two early singles). Accolades include Guardian Band of the Day, Drowned in Sound ‘Single of the Week’, NME ‘Top Track You Have To Hear’, BBC Radio 1 Alt Single of The Week. Th critically acclaimed, cold/minimal wave debut LP saw uber-producer James 'Simian Mobile Disco' Ford (Depeche Mode, Foals, Florence & The Machine, Arctic Monkeys,+) on production duties.
