What started out as a regular jam session between Ian (guitar) and Terry (drums), eventually became a full writing band in winter 2010/2011 after the arrival of Ric (vocals) and a slight line-up change later added Paul on bass guitar.

The direction was clear, back to basics ol' fashioned blues rock with a hard rock edge, very much influenced by bands like Free and The Black Crowes, but giving it our own little stamp.

After playing several gigs around the Northwest, the band was given the opportunity of playing Manchester Academy 3. A video was put together to a rough version of one of our more popular tracks 'Delilah's Eyes' using footage from the gig, both on and off the stage. 

In a snowy early 2012, we recorded and released "The Bar Room Lies EP", we played more gigs and ended up playing the Darwen Music Festival 2012. The E.P is available to download for FREE, yes FREE!! Contact us for more details. 

We very recently took part in the heats for a Battle of The Bands for the S.O.P.H.I.E Festival, in association with Metal Heart Promotions. It was a fun gig, and we got a great reception, and some cracking photos (thanks to Adam Young).

With new songs in the pipeline and more gigs on the way, the future is looking very promising for these four guys from the little town of Bolton.

Ethan & The Reformation are a five-piece Psych Rock band from Bury/Manchester, formed in late 2015. Frontman/Rhythm Guitarist Ethan Davies met and struck up a friendship with Lead Guitarist Mick Mac in July 2013, whilst both performing at Wonderwall Festival in Flensburg, Germany - a bill that was topped by Jefferson Airplane. Two years passed before another chance meeting between the pair at Liverpool International Festival of Psychedelia. The two met a week or so later at Mick's home, where they began to develop some ideas that Ethan had been working on. After a handful of meetings, they had demoed four tracks with which they approached bassist James Cordeiro and drummer Thomas Oliver Gorton. Ethan had known the pair from around Manchester and moved quickly to recruit the pair. The line-up was completed with the addition of Jack Wakeman on keys.

The Shireens are the misappropriated sounds of the Middle East in a Northern rock band. Think the Clash kidnapping the RNCM's best jazz musicians and forcing them to dig tunnels in the Gaza Strip. Described as 'desert punk' by those who underestimate the musicians of the Sahara and who clearly know nothing about punk, The Shireens are the musical internationalists of the recession era.
