Rewind about me:
After a lifetime of loving those special moments in a track that gives you goosebumps and enforced rewinds, I thought it was about time I tried to create some of those moments for myself. Back in the late 80s / early 90s I knew what I wanted to do but I just didn't have the equipment or budget to do it, so it got shelved for nearly 20 years whilst I got all grown up with a proper job and a lovely family.

Then after getting a USB turntable I started converting all my vinyl to MP3s and working with Audacity...then one thing led to another and I found myself doing edits, extended mixes and mash-ups of all my favourite soul / funk / hip-hop tracks. Bliss!!!

Since then I've moved onto Cubase5 (now 6) and I haven't looked back. What started out as a very personal thing soon developed into a more public thing and I'm lucky enough that other people In the UK soul scene like what I've been doing....which I never ever take for granted.

In the last 12 months I've worked with Incognito, Beverley Knight, Kenny Thomas, West Coast Soulstars, Trish Standley, Miss Coco Brown, The Homework Brothers, Finite Source, Tom Glide & The Luv All Stars, Soularis, etc to name but a few...love em all to bits! I've also been interviewed on BBC radio as well as numerous internet radio stations.

I love female BVs, I simply worship at the feet of a crackin' bassline and I'd gladly sell my sister (if I had one) for strings that send a shiver down your spine!!

Bebel Gilberto (born Isabel Gilberto de Oliveira on May 12, 1966 in New York City) is a Brazilian popular singer often associated with bossa nova. She is the daughter of João Gilberto and singer Miúcha. Her uncle is singer/composer Chico Buarque. Gilberto has been performing since her youth in Rio de Janeiro.

Bebel's debut song was, as expected, precocious. At the tender age of nine, Bebel had already performed at Carnegie Hall with her mother and Stan Getz, and had previously participated in the musicals Pirlimpimpim and Saltimbancos with her mother and her uncle Chico Buarque.

Her professional solo debut came in 1986 with a self-titled EP released by WEA which included "Preciso dizer que te amo," a partnership with Cazuza, Dé, when both were in the Barão Vermelho band. In 1991, the daughter of Gilberto and Miúcha traded Ipanema, where she grew up, for Manhattan, where she was born. Bebel continues to live in New York City, but shares her time between the U.S. and Brazil.

Bebel was a great friend of Cazuza and she composed several songs with him in addition to "Eu preciso dizer que te amo," including "Amigos de Bar," "Mais Feliz" and "Mulher sem Razão."

Bebel next participated in the project Red, Hot + AIDS, joining major music stars such as Everything but the Girl, Maxwell, George Michael and others for the benefit CD recording. She also collaborated on the CD of Japanese producer Towa Tei Future Listening, singing on the hits "Technova" and "Batucada" and also participated in the project Peeping Tom Mike Patton (former lead singer of Faith No More), singing "Caipirinha."

With the release of 'Tanto Tempo' in 2000, Bebel concocted her trademark electronic bossa nova, which took over clubs around the world and positioned Bebel as one of the top-selling Brazilian artists in the U.S. since the '60s. With her second album, 'Bebel Gilberto' (2004), she refined her sound to create an acoustic lounge style that showcased her strengths as a Brazilian composer.

With Momento (2007), her third album in seven years, she wanted to do a fusion of both. Mixing the taste of Rio 'Orchestra Imperial' with the melting pot of New York's Brazilian Girls, and following the direction of the English producer Guy Sigsworth (Madonna's partner in "What It Feels Like for a Girl"), Momento reaffirms the international character of Bebel.

All in One, which was released worldwide on September 29, 2009 on the famous American jazz label Verve, was released in Brazil by Universal Music. It is the least electronic-infused of her albums, it also brings to the forefront more of Bebel's personality and love for organic styles.

To forge a mature serenity on 'All in One,' Bebel had a super team of producers including Mark Ronson (Amy Winehouse, Lily Allen), John King (Dust Brothers, Beck), Daniel Jobim, Carlinhos Brown, Didi Gutman (Brazilian Girls) and Mario Caldato Jr (Beastie Boys, Bjork, Jack Johnson).

Since the launch of 'Tanto Tempo' in 2000, it has sold over 2.5 million records and has been featured on seven film soundtracks (including "Next Stop Wonderland," "Bubble," "Closer" and most recently 2010's "Eat Pray Love") and seven TV series (Sex and the City, Six Feet Under, Nip/Tuck ...).

BadboE is a truecore musichead born in Denmark in 1980. Located in the northern part of Denmark, where the weather always suxx, which gives BadboE a good excuse to sit in his music lab throwing pumpin' beats at his 18" bass sound system all day long. BadboE�s primary music inspirations come from the oldskool funk productions from the late 60s and the 70s. Like many other breakbeat artists, this musical legacy is where BadboE dig in to bring new life by cutting and mixing the pieces into new danceable songs. The specialty has become sophisticated mixing of old funk samples with 80s rap vocals and hooks. BadboE started out making music in the mid 90s - doing mainly euro hardcore techno, but soon found out that his real passion and fascination was for breaks and bigbeats. After trying out just about everything in the electronic music genre from - house, trance, club, happy hardcore to drum&bass, triphop and Breakbeat the conclusion was that funky breakbeat is what he does best. So now BadboE pretty much combined it all into one with an emphasis on breaks, which has become the BadboE-style. 

In 2006 BadboE formed his own digital recordlabel together with his fellow musician Wiccatron called Breakbeat Paradise Recordings (BBP Recordings). The goal with the label was to ensure faster access to the market as well as open doors for some of the great artists that are doing funky breaks. Since then the nu funk scene has come to live and the BBP label is set to be one of the digital leaders in this genre. 

BadboE has been keeping busy releasing his unique flavour of b-boy funk and uptempo partyfunk on his own label and on various other labels. After releasing a few vinyl records in 2007 - the debut EP: "Loose Your Funky Self" and a remix by Break The Box called "Walk out Laughing" the successful EP "Dynamite/Nothing But the Funk" was released in Oct 2008 with remixes from All Good Funk Alliance! This was followed by the successful 4-track Good Groove 11 vinyl that managed to stay at the no. 1 spot on the breakbeat chart for several months. A lot or remixes has been coming out on various labels and they have all contributed to settling BadboE�s name in the funky breakbeat scene. In 2008 BadboE got active as a live DJ playing at the Roskilde Festival in Denmark and at the electronic Boom festival in Portugal as well as other local gigs. 

BadboE's music is going in 2 directions - the first is making funky breaks and trippy lounge breaks without using uncleared samples (material to release commercially) and the other is for the scene mixing, breaking and bootlegin' with the oldskool funk tunes. In the upcoming years BadboE will focus on getting his music out there with a full length album coming out in 2009 as well as touring the world with his funky partyrocking DJsets. Stay tuned...

Based in the beautiful and vibrant city of Madrid, Spanish DJ and Producer Extraordinaire - Rayko has been a leading light in the clubbing scene around Europe and beyond, since he founded his magnificent Rare Wiri label in 2008 where he has released some of the coolest names out there during all these years like Daniele Baldelli, Man Parrish, Gazeebo, Ilija Rudman, Ichisan, Spirit Catcher, Mushrooms Project, or Eric Duncan among many others

His very unique sound and personality, and incredible work ethic, coupled with  unstoppable creative genius have given Rayko the momentum and consistency to stack up a number of great achievements in his genres, although being such a humble and down to earth guy, he will tell you that he just loves what he does and is perpetually inspired to keep on doing it! 

Deeply rooted in the golden era of the ‘70s and ‘80s, Rayko’s influences are masterfully interpreted and transformed into modern day dancefloor bombs with great vision. His love affair with the evolution of synthesizers and vintage drum machines has gone on to heavily fuel his sound today, in addition to sonic desires of 80s Rock evident in his catalogue, that displays such exquisite musical versatility. 

Rayko is very proud to have featured on over fifty great vinyl releases, spread across labels such as Eskimo, Is it Balearic?, Whisky Disco, Lumberjacks in Hell, and Editorial, including two studio albums on Nang Recordings, in addition to over two hundred digital releases. Many of these titles have been repeatedly featured in Top 10 sales charts, with some releases making it to the coveted number one position on platforms like Juno Download, Beatport, and Traxsource. His talents as a remixer have been in constant high demand, with invitations from coveted Artists like Psychemagik, Sirs, In Flagranti, Roberto Rodriguez, or Dj Rocca, to name a few, calling upon his exceptional skills.

In his capacity as DJ, Rayko is much loved wherever he goes. He has toured extensively, having played in some of the best clubs and festivals all over the world,  from London, Berlin, San Diego, Ibiza, Paris, Milan, San Francisco, Tulum, Barcelona, Manchester, Los Angeles, Medellin, Cairo, Miami, Istanbul, Moscow, Tokyo, Mexico City, Liverpool, Oslo, Rio de Janeiro, Bali, to Lebanon and beyond, he continues to show love to his huge following, who are collectively responsible for  his incredible global streaming numbers of over six million plays on Spotify, Soundcloud and YouTube.

As his fantastic catalogue continues to expand through the years, Rayko has become one of the most loved names in modern Disco.
