Phanto is the Mettaton replacement. Now that Kirby has helped Barney infiltrate Phanto’s theater, Phanto won’t allow either of them to leave. His battle switches between sections in the overworld where Barney and Kirby have to find their way out of the theater, and regular battle sections where Phanto corners them back into fighting.
