DEURYS was born in San Francisco De Macoris, Republica Dominicana on October 17. His musical career began at an early age when he participated in school competitions and music festivals.

At a very young age, he would listen to heavy REGGAETON & HIP-HOP music. As he got older, his musical influences continued to expand and DEURYS enjoys listening to all genres of music. He migrated over to the United States at the age of 9 & began his life in New Jersey. Growing up he would constantly be “free styling” AKA spitting BARS (not really, since we were so young lol) with his class-mates in school, after school, etc, it was just a constant desire to be surrounded by music & sports. This was just the beginning of a journey. 

At the age of 16, while still in high school, involved in mainly Baseball & being a multi-sport athlete he decided to participate in his first “OPEN MIC”; after a dare. It was on that open mic show where he made his first appearance performing live. To say the least, it went exceptionally well for being his first performance. The following year, he was invited again to perform at the open mic and received great feedback from the crowd as well as his peers. “Keep making music, this stuff is amazing dude, one day you’re going to blow up is what everyone said to him after he would play them his songs.”

After high school, DEURYS went on to study Physical Therapy, Psychology, Marketing & Business Development. During this time he was also working on his vocal techniques & developing his sound.

Currently, DEURYS is an independent artist. Some of his Personal Interests: music, yoga, books, poetry, hiking, weight lifting, skiing, bike riding, long neighborhood walks, giving back, airplane views, songwriting, producing, video editing, journaling, self love, mental health, health and wellness, psychology, meditation, mindfulness.

DEURYS works to inspire, motivate and empower those around him. He understand that it starts with his actions, and in order to be able to leave a legacy behind he must give back to his community. "I am grateful and lucky enough to be able to use my time here to use my platforms to push topics of mental health, spirituality, self-love, health and wellness, exercise, meditation, etc! I feel like one of my main callings in this life is to guide the next generation to do GOOD with their time and to push them to follow their DREAMS no matter how many obstacles show up in their journey.”
