Bayaan is an alternative rock/contemporary pop band hailing from Lahore, Pakistan, consisting of Asfar Hussain, Haider Abbas, Mansoor Lashari, Shahrukh Aslam and Muqeet Shahzad. The band first rose to prominence when its members were featured in Nescafe Basement and later made headlines after winning the third season of Pepsi Battle of the Bands in 2018.

Bayaan is renowned for its lyrical prowess and experimentation alongside thought provoking music videos. The band released their EP "4 Saal" and debut album "Suno" through rearts imprint record label rearts records globally.

THE STORY OF ‘EAST SIDE STORY’

East Side Story has Tariq Gujjar aka TG King and Casim Mahmood coming together to create a unique blend of Blues and Punjabi folk. 

Tariq is a lawyer by profession. He is the vocalist for the band. His earthy vocals seeped in personality and the local expression give the band a sound that’s been around for ages and yet is completely new. 

Casim is an ad-man by day. After hours, he is a sculptor and an immensely talented self taught guitarist with roots in western classical, blues and rock. He is the lead guitarist as well as the harmonica player for the band.

TG King and Casim both appreciate that the Punjabi Folk and the Blues have a lot in common. In fact they are very much connected as music genres as both represent the words of the common man. 

With such similar vision on music they are able to compliment each other and mesh the Blues and Punjabi Folk with effortless ease to great effect.

Kashmir is an alternative rock band from Karachi, Pakistan. It is the winning band of Pepsi Battle of the Bands Season 2 in 2017. Formed in 2012, the band played for various shows across the country prior to PBOB.

The band consist of Bilal Ali (vocalist), Vais Khan (lead guitarist), Usman Siddiqui (bass guitarist), Shane J. Anthony (drummer), Zair Zaki (rhythm guitarist), and Ali Raza (keyboardist).

Kashmir won the Lux Style Award for Best Emerging Talent (Music) 2017 for their song "Kaghaz Ka Jahaz". The band’s debut studio album titled "Khwaab" released in March 2020.
