15 years ago I first heard this song, it floored me as lyrically one of the best songs I'd ever heard.  Takes you through a man on death row's last few minutes.  Puts you in shoes you never wanted to fill.  We told a close friend we were going to cover this song and his first words were "you're gonna cover a johnny cash song?! that's ballsy!"  But it took me 10 years to know I was able to do it justice.  To release a song written by a great poet, and made famous by one of the best storytellers of all time, is a true honour.
