Legend speaks of the Greek mythological creatures called Sirens. Half-bird, half-woman, who lived on an island  just off the Mediterranean Sea. 
They were known for their exquisite singing abilities. So beautiful it would distract passing sailors from their course, luring them to blindly sail towards the Sirens' mesmerising melodies, and to their untimely death. 
Modern Urban Legend has it that when the Sirens are off duty as dangerous man-eaters they like to morph into Mermaids, and frolic in the rivers and dams at festivals around the Western Cape. 
It takes a lot to lure them out of the water with mesmerising music but maybe just maybe, if you're lucky, and if the beats are just right, you can entice them onto the dance floor.

Bazique Part I : Siren Songs

I arrived on the train 10 minutes before my set. I saw Bellville doing an amazing job at lifting up the energy and the crowd and felt quite stressed indeed. When you see this machine roaring at its full potential as an artist about to play, it's quite overwhelming.
I started to play one, two, three tracks and felt amazing. Sharing my passion on the train is an intense feeling for me. I gave a lot during this set and the crowd response was incredible. I saw a lot of friends and smiles on the dance floor. What an incredible privilege to play there at that time. Hope you'll like this set :)
