The Samauma is a thousand-year-old tree from the Amazon Rainforest region, affectionately called Mother and revered by various native tribes in the region. It is called that way because, when it reaches maturity, it acquires an imposing height that allows it to see and embrace the entire forest from above. Beautiful, majestic, and essential to the natural cycle, it is a sacred plant and important for the entire human population.

With that in mind, Stereophonic brings us a release of similar greatness: the V/A Samauma. A compilation of carefully selected tracks that represent a part of Resina Records' sound. In its curation, Stereophonic sought renowned artists in the national scene to develop a sonic progression through 11 tracks that promise to satisfy all tastes.

The V/A Samauma also seeks to raise awareness about the progressive destruction of the Amazonian landscape that has spread in recent years, threatening global biodiversity and our natural riches, so important for the inspiration and experience of artists and people who live for music.

Banyan Records an eminent label in the psychedelic trance culture today was founded in the year 2011 by two sonic alchemists Senang and DJ Hu Gadam from Tyrol/Austria. With this label, they intend to create a pool for local and international artists to present their latest, fresh tunes of surreal, mystical, earthy, grounded, dark forest/psychedelic tunes. Their melodic figurations of sounds and heavy bass lines sparks inspiration from woods and murky atmospheres. Each artist on their roster experiments , using synthetic frequency patterns and distorted effects and creates a story to tell with every musical piece. Banyan Records aspires to spread the positive energies of Banyan at dance floors around the globe right to your home.

Hu Gadam aka, Asmodis entered the colourful psychedelic dancefloors in the year 1999. Opportunity knocked on his doorstep, when he began organizing private parties starting from 2004, with his first official party happening in 2005. The year 2004 was when Asmodis began dishing out his music and organizing psychedelic trance events and forest music festivals like Fairies Dreams, Dark Fairies Dreams and Stomping Goats in the year 2019.In the year 2011, he created Banyan Records along with his friend Senang. With Banyan Records behind his back, he wished to express his perception of dark forest psychedelic trance music. And since 2018, he has also worked together with the Russian label, Organic Alchemy Records which he supported as a label DJ. He has performed in many parties and festivals around the world with his sets, and you can safely hold your expectations and have a highly hypnotic psychedelic music night!
