Back in September 2023 deviate saw Dennis Leick aka dreadmaul, drive a car load full of instruments and equipment from Mainz to Berlin. What followed was a completely original live-productions set. The vibe was beyond something special and truly legendary. We wanted to release this set despite some technical challenges with recording devices (as is the nature with “live”), its just too good to leave sitting on hard-drives. Thanks, peace and love out to the one and only dreadmaul and of course to all deviate supporters.

A bass event series launched in 2018 by Berlin based DJ Sammy B with the concept to depart from accepted "normalisms"  in the breakbeat dance scene. The goal is to promote less known producers and DJ's, under-rated artists, FLINTA artists, and encourage diverse genre pushing sets without discrimination.
