The final piece of an outrageously heavy-hitting and intricately developed drum and bass jigsaw, 'Let Me Know’' sees Elevate Records duo Freaks & Geeks polish off their debut 'Genesis' EP in a typically vocal-driven and high-energy fashion.

Known to some as Doctor P and one-half of Roksonix, since the inception of the Freaks & Geeks alias in 2019, Shaun Brockhurst and Phil Desborough have adopted an ethos of exploration and experimentation that has seen their name take the drum and bass scene by storm. Following on from the huge streaming success of tracks such as 'Elemental' (Feat. Emily Makis), 'Freefalling', and 'Waiting For You', they now find themselves landing on Elevate Records once again, this time with their highly-anticipated debut EP 'Genesis'.

Featuring the electrifying electronic energy of 'Down With Your Love', the ludicrously bass-driven and adrenaline-fuelled sounds of 'Infinity' (Feat. Lee Mvtthews), and the outrageously high-octane dance destroyer 'Run The Show' (Feat. Flowdan), 'Genesis' sees Freaks & Geeks showcase each avenue of their seasoned production palette in a truly captivating manner.

A highly anticipated tradition at Viper, the Annual Compilation is a celebration of the past year, featuring 26 tracks from a mix of familiar faces sprinkled with some of the scene’s hottest up-and-comers. Hand picked by label head honcho Futurebound himself, this year’s Annual 2023 features some of the year’s biggest hits from Jack Mirror, Blaine Stranger, V O E, Solomon France, Dossa & Locuzzed, Madface, BMotion, and more, sitting alongside records from Exile, DEAD WAX, CaitC, Houndeye, Deep Notion, and other ones to watch. Covering the full spectrum of Drum & Bass, Annual 2023 is the perfect celebration of another incredible year for Viper Recordings. 

Before unleashing the full album, the Annual 2023 Sampler offers a perfect taste of what’s in store, featuring three brand new exclusives from some of the scene’s best and brightest. 

First up, Madface teams up with Lottie Woodward, both familiar names to the label, with the explosive dancefloor track “High Above”. One of Viper’s latest signings, Madface has certainly been making waves the past year, so Annual 2023 wouldn’t have been complete without at least one new track from the Czech producer. Teaming up with the ethereal songstress Lottie Woodward, this powerful ballad features infectious vocals alongside vibrant danecfloor drops for the ultimate feel-good party anthem. 

Next up to bat is a new name to Viper with Deep Notion’s “Don’t Worry Bout Them”. An alluring cinematic intro paints an enchanting picture before introducing more tech-y influences leading up to a mind blowing drop. The juxtaposition of such a gentle opening against such a bass forward drop encapsulates the Viper sound perfectly, and we’ll be sure to keep an eye on Deep Notion. 

Last but certainly not least, CaitC joins the label with her debut single “Feel” featuring Christina Harrison on vocals. One of the hottest DJs to emerge in recent years, CaitC’s production is certainly on par with her stage presence, and combined with the mesmerizing vocals of Christina Harrison, “Feel” is a track you won’t soon forget. The ultimate liquid dancefloor record, hearing such immense productions from the new generation of producers is not only a testament to the influence Viper has held over the scene over the past 15+ years, but also to the strength and innovation of the scene as a whole. 

With three powerful new records to start, there’s no denying that big things are in store with Annual 2023 – the perfect end to arguably one of the label’s strongest year yet. Packed full of new and exciting talent together with legends like Futurebound himself, you will only find these sounds on the mighty Viper Recordings.

It’s always exciting at Viper HQ when label head honcho Futurebound has a release – this time, made even more exciting as he teams up with Kiwi powerhouse duo Lee Mvtthews – one of the hottest new acts to emerge in the recent DnB hotspot that is New Zealand. Bringing together Futurebound’s decades of experience at the forefront of dancefloor Drum & Bass together with the fresh flavours of the next generation, “Perfect Sky” is a release you won’t soon forget.

As if the production wasn’t legendary enough, Asha lends her vocal prowess to the mix, perfectly rounding off the track. Futurebound’s inimitable talent for writing the most euphoric drops the scene has ever seen is complemented by Lee Mvtthew’s ear for funky festival beats, utilising their diverse taste in music to create something original that is sure to be a favourite the world over.

Bringing people together from all corners of the globe is what Viper is all about and has been an integral part of the label’s mission since Futurebound founded it in 2004. Hot off the back of securing their first gold-certified record, we're excited to announce that powerhouse D&B duo Flowidus return to  Elevate Records for their second single of 2023. 

Titled 'Belong', they team up with the enrapturing vocal prowess of Matisse Reynolds to deliver a top-tier slice of dancefloor drum and bass that's compelling basslines encapsulate the unique qualities that have turned Flowidus into the serious force that they are in today's D&B landscape.
