Super Deluxe is a multi-volume music project blending the self indulgence of solo guitar-based rock with playful themes centred around life experiences and musical influences.

Each volume, from instrumental tracks to collaborative pieces aims to showcase a unique narrative.

The creative journey will culminate with the manufacturing of a 1/1 ‘Super Deluxe’ vinyl box set.

Jim Stapley has the kind of voice that comes along once in a generation; a powerful brew of blues and soul, laced with sublime falsetto. Described as “gritty, pretty, and profound” by Classic Rock Magazine, his songs of love, hope, and political disenfranchisement are stories for the everyman. 

Born in Manchester, UK, Jim signed his first publishing deal at the age of eighteen. He honed his craft fronting original rock ’n’ roll bands in London, around the UK, and in Europe, eventually catching the attention of Kenney Jones (Faces/Small Faces/The Who) who hired Jim as the front man for his band, The Jones Gang.  Simultaneously Jim signed a record deal with US based label, Ironworks Records, and released his debut EP, Love Is Surrender. Jim then recorded Wind It Up as the lead singer for rock band, Skinny Machines, and completed two European tours before he signed a subsequent deal with MITA Records, releasing his first solo album Long Time Coming. Jim now lives in Nashville, Tennessee with his wife, Kerry. He plays 120+ shows a year around the country, and is currently working on new material for his next record. 
 
Having worked with music industry legends including Kenney Jones (Faces/Small Faces/The Who), Ronnie Wood (Faces/Rolling Stones), Pete Brown (Cream, Jace Bruce), Danny O’Donoghue (The Script), Tony Visconti (producer: David Bowie, T.Rex, Morrissey) and Eddie Kramer (producer: Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones), Jim Stapley is a lauded performer who delivers equal parts raw energy and mature vulnerability. 
 
Jim cuts through the noise, leaving his listeners feeling empowered, restored, and ready for the tribulations of another day.
