In 2013 he sat down behind the mixing desk for the first time and from then on he began to mix his own sound and create his own style. Today his style is characterised by Hardtechno, Hardbounce, acid and sometimes gabber-heavy kicks and consistently driving basslines! It is impossible to imagine the Cologne techno scene without him, and he is an integral part of the cult club in the Elektroküche Köln.

WESTKLANG also named "Westi" was born 1999 in Monschau, West-Germany.
Grown up and stil living in the same village WESTKLANG were early "formed/shaped" by the impressive "Techno Society/Movement" of Cologne, Belgium and the Netherlands at an young age.

Due to his friends, who were much older then himself 
WESTKLANG early got in touch with the music and also made his first experiences by going out in Cologne and Aachen 
- even he were not permitted to - 
WESTKLANG always figured out a way to get into the club.

In the age of 15, inspired by his idols Sven Väth, Alan Fitzpatrick and also Adam Beyer "little Westi" started mixing techno music by hisself.
Not so much later, his friends decided to plan a so called: "underground/secret rave" in the villages around Monschau where WESTKLANG was invited to play and so he made his experiences behind the decks, 
since this day WESTKLANG knew: 
"THIS IS MY PASSION, THE HEATING FEELING INSIDE ME WHEN I SEE THE PEOPLES FACES AND BODYS DANCIN' N MOVIN' TO MY RYTHMNS"

WESTKLANG IS ALSO CEO @sol-raves WHICH IS AN UPCOMING MOVEMENT IN 2023
