Dominic Bonner also know as “Dominic Gambino” is an American Rap Artist who was born in Jacksonville Florida on March 26, 1988. He is the middle sibling of two brothers and two sisters, while his mother raised them all independently.

Furthermore, Dominic relocated from Jacksonville Florida to Joliet, Illinois (South of Chicago) when he was 7 years old. Dominic has always had the ambition to be an expressive MC. When interviewing Dominic, he mentioned when he was younger, his mother had taken him to a No Limit concert, where he experienced a major thrill with the tanks rolling in and the music amplified. Since then, he’s been inspired to pursue his dream and become a recording artist. His influences and favorite rappers were Tupac and Andre3000.


Before Dominic’s rap career, he was playing basketball for Joliet Central until they caught onto his illegal activities and lack of discipline. Dominic struggled dealing with the street life and doing something positive with his passion for basketball. After Dominic was released from the basketball team, he drifted more to the street life. In early 2017, he faced two separate trail cases and had won back to back.

Moreover, the music had kept him on the right path, but the cases he fought had caught up to him in the years later. Dominic Gambino first received recognition with his mixtape he released, hosted by Don Cannon entitled “All I Want to Do Is Trap” in early 2017.
