age thirteen, Dev picked up a pen and tried his hand at writing. Igniting a 
spark, he would go on to write his first few songs and perform them in 
church. Years later, after being 
pursued by a number of college athletic programs and accepting an offer from 
Hudson Valley, Dev found himself missing two-a-day workouts making 
music. It was at that point when he found himself at a crossroads –  
uninspired by sports and unsure of a future in music. Rolling the dice  and 
utilizing the discipline and dedication he developed while playing  sports, Dev 
walked away from the field, made himself comfortable in a  recording studio, and 
never looked back.
