Pausing from the Rave Kid onslaught, here's my recent guest mix for Vykhod Sily - figured it wouldn't hurt to give it some more exposure. One of my favourites of recent months with a bit of everything thrown in the mix. The basic premise was simply for it to be lots of fun - a 160bpm selection from 1993 to the present day, celebrating the sheer joy of mix combos with plenty of 4/4s, breaks, scratching, cheeky samples and general carnage.

Like I can use the album to point to it to explain how I feel instead of having to think about [it] all the time, but at the very least, I want it to be the best apology I can give to the people who deserve it (even if they'll never hear it). "fleeting memories; feigning happiness" is a personal journey for me that follows, among other things, the course of a romantic relationship, the stages of grief that came with it, and my understanding of my eventual diagnosis of bipolar II disorder. I suppose I'll leave it at that.
