1. Tell us about forthcoming releases you have:

 I currently have a couple of tunes slated for release on a label, but there's no timeline for those at the moment, so I think it better to keep quiet about that for the time being. I haven't been working on much music since my mom passed about a year and a half ago. No need to mention the specifics of that for obvious reasons, but when the time is right for me. I'll be back on the beats.

2. Tell us about your show on Jungletrain, Below C Level:
Back around 2004, we had just started the BelowCLevel collective with a focus on drum heavy D&B in New Orleans and beyond. Shortly before the end of the year, Beebe got us a slot on Jungletrain.net and we are celebrating our 20th anniversary on the site this year. It's a milestone that me and the rest of the crew are very proud of. You can catch the show every other Wednesday from 8-10 central standard time.

3. What is your favorite New Orleans cuisine?

 My favorite New Orleans cuisine is gonna be tough as there are so many different dishes that are classic New Orleans. I'll just make a list of some favorites in no particular order.

Muffaletta: the red-headed stepchild of New Orleans sandwiches, the muffaletta is a sandwich of Sicilian origin that first appeared at Central Grocery. As with the Poboy, the bread is important here. The muffaletta is served on a 12-inch round seeded loaf layered with salami, mortadella, ham, olive salad, and swiss or provolone cheese. Served either hot or cold this is one not to miss. Olive haters be damned!

Yaka Mein: A beef-based noodle soup that is rumored to have started in the now extinct Chinatown of New Orleans. Served with boiled egg and green onion, this is one that you'll have to seek out a little more than most of the others on this list.

Beignets: The classic breakfast option available for years from the famed Cafe Du Monde. Fried squares of pillowy doughnuts coated with powdered sugar. Simple yet effective.

Seafood in general: New Orleans and the surrounding areas are known for some of the best seafood in the world. We are blessed to have crab, crawfish, shrimp, redfish, snapper, drum, and a myriad of other marine life that are delicious. Combined with Cajun and Creole cuisine, you can't go wrong with the myriads of different dishes prepared in the city.
