Through her life, Devon has experimented numerous types of sounds together to seek a harmonious combination of dissonance and consonant. They are blended with her inspiration which mostly comes from her experiences of the connection with the Universe and human emotions. Her music style combined ambient and hypnotic essence will create a transcend-like, meditative space through soundscapes in shaping the emotional journey.  Alongside, she supports the Japan’s local techno scene with her TORUS project.

Based in Tokyo yet raised in U.S. and France, Devon is a DJ / track maker with significant early exposure to music performance and production. Devon has found her unique combination of sounds to create a transcend-like, meditative space through soundscapes. With her free spirit, she combines a wide range of music genre and follows whatever her heart feels through an emotional journey.

'Spring In Kyoto' Mix

Guest mix to "BAIHUI Live", China-launched independent radio station to feature talents in China and across the globe. The program is hosted by Berlin-based rising talent @templerat .

I created a mix that embodies the vibrant summer atmosphere. The theme of the mix is titled as "Californian Psychedelia." Drawing inspiration from my memories of California during my teenage years, I adorn the mix with numerous sparkling sounds, with the heartfelt prayer that listeners would feel utmost happiness. While primarily exploring house and disco dub, I add a psychedelic and trippy ambiance by incorporating elements of rock into the sound.

The ‘psychedelia’ experienced in California, which served as the theme for this mix, was reminiscent of everyday life. From the majestic wineries bathed in the radiant sun under the blue sky to the scent of the ocean reaching from the pristine coastline, and the drives along the highways that connect vast lands. Extending your hand from a running convertible, the soft yet slightly dry air caresses your skin, and with each encounter with such a breeze, it feels like returning to one's true self, one by one. Enveloped in the gently flowing time, there is the presence of the person beside you in those moments—experiencing the sun and the earth together with loved ones, friends, and family, and feeling the undeniable presence of love when gazing into each other's eyes. This was the interpretation of psychedelia in this mix.

With this mix, you may dance with friends on a terrace, take a walk in town/nature or feel the sunlight under the blue sky… I hope each one of you can feel the beauty of this present moment, the beauty of being alive. With the intention of adding a touch of sparkle to this summer and wishing everyone a wonderful time, I send my love and prayers. ✨🕊
