This Time, You're Gonna Get It Right

Cameron DeVries and Beldon Burch.  

        Songwriters that both hail from from the Central Coast of California.  They believe in stalking new creative ground ~ singing the songs that speak to the untamable wildness 
     -the intrepid yearning-       of the inner muse.  

           They aim to write songs that are as unique as they are familiar - songs  that reflect real feelings and experiences, and the wisdom that comes from real life.. 
     knowing that sometimes the heart sings an ode, and sometimes it sings a dirge - but no matter what the mood of one’s spirit, the heart must always express that which is crying to be expressed, heard, and released...
      
      Always the heart must sing, even if that cry is only a labored, wordless silence....

The song is about new beginnings, learning from mistakes, and turning over a new leaf.  

MORE ABOUT US:

~ Cameron is a singer/songwriter living in Orcutt, CA.  He has performed six of his songs on live television, a performance which received praise from a music critic.  He has also received praise for his songwriting and performances from well known songwriters.  His song “The Lucky Ones”, written in 2007, was recorded by independent music artist Mark Roberts on his album “Zero to Sixty” in 2012.  He also had a solo-written song make it past the first stage of pitching to a major label artist in 2024.  

   Cameron believes every song, every mood, every individual expression can be a treasure in its own way - each one a unique window, opening to unmanifest jewels; and sometimes, on this journey to the door of soul and heart ~ once in a blue moon, perhaps ~ one discovers something that is completely new, something that speaks in the subtle, magical, profound, and transformational language of that mysterious grace behind everything; that magic force that the Dagara tribe from Burkina Faso refers to as “yielbongura”, meaning “that which knowledge cannot eat.”  
  Cameron believes that each song expresses its own essence, without having to compare it to another…

~ Beldon is a member of the Nashville Songwriter’s Association International, and has been fortunate to have been named New Member of the Year for 2022 and had a song in the TOP TEN in their NSAI Song Contest, ultimately getting “Runner Up”.  NSAI has also placed multiple songs in their Top 40 in Honor of Bob Kingsley along with being named “Ones to Watch” several times.  TAXI has featured one of his songs in their TOP TEN for the month. 
  Beldon’s songwriting strengths are song titles, concepts, and lyrics.  He has played guitar for many years.
