The Idea
A magical forest inhabited by iron birds.

Method.
The sounds of birds.
Basically, these are creaks of the oven door of a gas stove. There is also a slide of a knife on the glass lid of the pan. Then I modulated Pitch using ReaPitch in Reaper to diversify the sounds of birds.
High and fast trills were created by lightly stroking a finger on an small balloon, then these sounds were pithed by 6-8 times.
The slow crackles of the cabinet door gave a woodpecker sound.


Insect sounds
Short looped piece of an balloon sound created a constant rhythm then pitched up to get the sound of a grasshopper.
The sound of a fluorescent lamp is like high chirping in a field.
I get 3 different synthetic textures of a grasshopper, a couple of sounds of a fluorescent lamp and with the help of Sound Particles I made a light field sound nearby.

Cracking pine.
Used 2 sounds of cracking pine, one is a close recording of the creak of the door, the second - the crack of the oven door.

Wind.
I blew on a wicker basket, then selected about 20 takes and composed in Sound Particles two versions for sounding the wind - light and intense.
