Featured on Chris Hülsbeck's Kickstarter-funded Turrican Soundtrack Anthology, this song was forged based on the original main theme to the original as a high-profile bonus addition.

In the same year when Ecco SoT got released, SegaSoft released another CD compilation with tracks from a broad range of SEGA titles. Ecco got also covered on this one, and you'll find a very rare vocal remix version of "st. gabriel's mask" on this disc! While the basic structure of the orginial track is still completely intact, a few guitars and drums have been added while Gary Cirimelli performs on the vocals. The interesting thing is that Spencer Nilsen apparently always wanted to have a vocal track in the game, but never got permission - most likely since Ed Annunziata wanted to keep the games clear of any human appearances. Seems like Nilsen was able slip by these rules in this special disc!

This is a piece of music that represents something very meaningful to me, and I'm so happy to be finally sharing it with all of you. Prism is a project of mine that was inspired by a culmination of understandings that led to an intention of putting as much energy as I possibly could into sharing music that was of genuine source and inspiration. The name came from the point at which I'd made the concrete decision to put recurrent energy into a single piece, after having the opportunity to talk one on one with an amazingly skilled electronic music artist named Prismatic. He encouraged me to keep working at it as much as I could, and to believe in the fact that the learning and growth will come, every day, bit by bit. He also openly shared those awesome drum samples with me, which was an amazing gift because I didn't have anything that packed that kind of punch prior to that. I also had the opportunity to have the finished product mastered by Recursion, the mastering engineer responsible for the final mastering of some of my all time deepest sources of inspiration. He really did an awesome job, and was extremely receptive and responsive throughout the whole process. The word Render is the name I've chosen for my electronic music venture. I found it encompassed the meaning of one of my most fundamental intentions regarding music production. The word Render means to restate from one language to another, while my underlying intention is to translate my internal musical experience to an audible form so that I can deliver that experience to those around me. Thanks so much to all of you for listening and giving such positive feedback over the years. It really has encouraged me to go deeper and to share more.

Yo dudes, dudettes, and other fellas! How's it going? I hope all you American fans are holding on well. I'd like to thank my cool and awesome friend TaeSkull (@taeskull-taeskull follow her if you haven't already!) for giving me some great ideas for this song and also creating that sweet first half of the guitar solo. I wish I could've implemented more of those ideas but this flp is already too big to stuff more lol. I had to add additional small touches on a separate flp, it was that big! Oh yeah, I'd also like to thank Squeak (@squeakep, you know the drill) for isolating the Sonic Drowning song's instruments, it was a big help for what I envisioned for the section. Lastly, my awesome friend Pork (@mrpizzapasta3, yup) for drawin' the art in good quality as usual. Some other song assistants were @thiv-games (Brass composition and slow od assistant) and @jedotime (song ideas).

Oh yeah, I'd like to apologize for my absence for both my 3000+ follower special and my Halloween special, both school and personal matters got in the way, sorry. Ah yes, Choujin Sentai Jetman on the Famicom. To most people it's just another side-scrolling beat 'em up, but to me it was a gateway into the world of Super Sentai, the Japanese superhero franchise that spawned the legendary Power Rangers series. I've wanted to remix a track from this game for a while, and the boss theme, which some people describe as a "backwards Wily Stage 1", served the perfect candidate.
